Let your freak flag fly and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, you’re meant to be who you are.
It can be tough at times, both academically and socially, but hang in there and try and find a balance between the two. It is just as important to become a well rounded individual as it is to achieve academic success. If things don't work out the way you expect them to, try to roll with it.
I think the posts so far are great. Be yourself, and don't care what other people think about it. But, that's easy to say and harder to do. I had a really difficult time in high school, I think most of us did, but I wish I could see that that was temporary. High school is not forever. The bulls**t that I cared about, that kept me up at night won't matter after high school. The bullying, the insecurity, it fades away as you come into your own. Also, keep in mind that you're not alone in whatever you're feeling. Everyone in every clique had their own issues they're struggling with.
Oh, and also, just graduate! I dropped out of high school my last year. I eventually got MY GED, but I always regretted dropping out. Especially since I was so close to finishing.
1. Keep up with school work, your GPA starts freshman year and having good grades can lead to good opportunities in the future
2. Not everyone will like you and that’s okay, don’t change yourself just to fit in. You’ll start to realize who your real friends are but the worth while ones will stick around
3.Don’t be that couple who makes out in the hallway or the group that stops walking and blocks the path. It’s just annoying for everyone around you
4. Focus on mental health!
5. People around you may be getting into relationships but don’t think that means you have to rush into one. If you have a bf/gf that’s awesome, if you don’t that’s cool too
