I saw my ex boyfriend at the mall once with his little girl. While he and I were catching up I found myself slowly running my fingers through his little girls’s long blonde hair and the side of her face distractedly… like I was some kind of serial killer kidnapper. I terrified myself! I apologized profusely. Even his kid thought it was creepy.

Not me, but my cousin. We are all in our early 40's to early 50's now and when we all get together we still have the mentality of being in our 20's. We were pretty cool back then, what can I say?
Recently we were out walking through the neighborhood and there were a couple of girls (probably like 12-14 years old) riding those e-bike things. My cousin, who is early 50's, cool guy, think like retired surfer dude, he's super friendly and loves to chat with everyone, but lacks self-awareness at times. So he says to these girls "Cool bikes, can I ride one?" The girls looked at each other and jetted off super fast. Me and my other cousin (both female) were like "come on, we gotta go before those girls go get their dad". He totally didn't get how that was creepy and we had to explain to him that men in their 50's can't interact with teenage girls like that.

I was trying to look grumpy but my grandma thought that I was possessed, because it looked like my eyes rolled into the back of my head. My mom thought it was funny though.
