In the 5th grade we were playing hockey in PE and this boy lets call him Jim was on my team. We didn’t end up winning the game, I felt bad since he played hockey for years on a team and really wanted to win. I slipped him a note saying “I’m sorry we didn’t win but your really good at hockey” to me at the time I was just being friendly, but it must have made him think I had a crush on him. He wrote back telling me thank you and that he thought I was beautiful and that he liked me. I didn’t like him and at most I just wanted to be friends. We kept passing notes after that because I didn’t want to hurt his feelings and tell him I did not like him. Even if we did “date” it wouldn’t work out just because of difference in personality, I’m introverted he’s extroverted, he likes sports I’m not big into sports etc. That one friendly comment changed everything between us. Remember if someone likes you don’t feel like you have to like them back or date them, do what makes you happy.
I am always very thankful if someone gives something. Clothes they don't need anymore, toys, household equipment... I take only what I can use and give the rest to someone else. Sharing is caring.
Sometimes just telling someone you see in public who has an obvious disability that they have a cool shirt or something. Often times people ignore them because they think if they just look away it will make the disabled person feel better than if they looked but sometimes this is not the case and they feel ignored and not a part of humanity so sometimes even a smile can make them feel more accepted. When I stim in public people look away and get awkward and it makes me feel bad because I feel less human
In World War I, a wounded Austrian soldier was spared by a British soldier. The Austrian later rose to fame: his name was Adolf Hitler. (True story. Have a google for details.)
