Specifically to US Pandas, with the election coming up this year. But please, all Pandas answer!Secondly, how can the US get good candidates into the polls and break the two-party tradition?

I’m Chinese, but the ideal candidate would be someone who does not discriminate against anyone and is willing to try to free healthcare or cheaper healthcare route.

Also about the two parties thing: is there ONLY two people running? Or is there a bunch of people in a third party? Or do yall eliminate potential presidents like a game show until there’s only two left?

The problem is that, while our "democratic" (cough, representative republic, cough) process suggests that any person over 35 could potentially become president....the system in reality only works for those with access to millions of $. Because the best presidential candidate ever who happens to live on Dairy Lane....is unable to pay for the advertising/publicity required to gain a base. The two parties are basically the gatekeepers to the people with the money to throw at a political candidate. so if you don't know the people in them, or more importantly if they don't know you, you are essentially prevented from any possible chance of your name being put on a ballot. I've always thought a good system would be to outlaw all paid political advertising, then mandate that all media and advertising outlets alot is specified amount of advert space/time for each local, then regional, then state etc, persons putting themselves up as candidate. Complex, but doable.

For the USA? A mixed race Hispanic and black transgender woman with liberal ideas, willing to tax the corporations and bring them to heel, strongly pro gun control, supported of equal rights for all and genuinely looking out for the working people and the poor and needy, not just pretending to be. Also, she should want a healthcare service for all, no more medical bankruptcies or insurance companies doing nothing but profiteering off a corrupt system and those in genuine need of medical help.

While I see the direction you want to go with that hypothetical candidate, I fear someone so strongly leaned in one direction would forget to care about the citizens who don't always agree with everything that person thinks. An ideal candidate would be able to acknowledge, internalize, and act upon the thoughts and views of all parties on all sides of every issue and, like the hypothetical King Midas, always be able to come up with the fair and balanced in between as his/her/their action response.

Between 35-65 years old. Never held a public office beyond perhaps their local city/county level. Experience in both military and mental healthcare, and one advanced degree making them an expert in something, esp History, Medicine, or Economics. Documentable proof they've never earned more than $100k a year in their life. Has been arrested for something minor at least once before age 35 and have experienced at least 3 days in jail. Has been a single parent for at least 1 year in their life. Comes from a family with 2 sides strongly leaning in opposite partisan directions, and one grandparent who they love that is religious as well as one close relative who is gay. Has had to hunt or fish for food at least once to feed themselves. Has had to beg money once. Has slept under a bridge once. And then became a self-made success with a spotlessly functional and balanced life since the age of 30. Does not personally know any millionaires or politicians. Owns zero designer clothing and only one car. Ideally, also listens only to country music, death metal, and opera. And speak 2+ languages. Must have IQ over 115.
