Hey, Pandas – What Words Or Phrases Need To Be Removed From Our National Lexicon? (Closed)
If there is anything the last four years have demonstrated, it's that some words and phrases should be banished from usage. Which ones would you nominate, and why?

Going to be controversial, but here goes:
America, the Best Country in the World!
I think last year as a whole (as well as 2021 up to now) is quite enough as a demonstration.
No Problem as a response to Thank You. Say you're welcome, my pleasure, glad to serve/help you, thank you too, anything polite--but don't tell me that I could have been a problem for you.
‘Triggered’
Has become a lame and insidious deflection for accepting responsibility for one’s actions or words; a euphemism for ‘I said something morally repugnant, You are now being telling me I’m being morally repugnant, but that’s just because YOU are triggered, YOU are unstable in your point of view for criticising me’. It’s a lame catch all to deflect that they can’t accept others find them morally repugnant, and an attempt to exonerate unacceptable speech.
Personally, I don't think any word should be banned. I prefer that they would just go out of fashion. Banning a word freezes it in the cultural psyche, and people use it as a part of counter-culture.
OK, then go with "What word or phrase needs to go out of fashion as quickly as possible?"
For me, it's the iterations of "[Insert name or personal pronoun here] wouldn't DARE..." The past 4 years showed us that yes, he would and the events of 1/6/21 demonstrated that yes, they would. "They wouldn't dare..." is at best naïve fantasy, and one that we can ill afford.
