Watched a movie about the moon crashing into earth as a kid (maybe at age 7 or so). One night a few weeks later we were on the road and came across the "Moon illusion" - the optical illusion which causes the Moon to appear larger near the horizon.
I thought our days are numbered.
Zombies. and now I think a zombie apocalypse would be so awesome. and bad ofc. but also awesome
Same, but honestly? I just like, don't think I'd survive the apocalypse at all lol.
I would never stand right next to my bed, afraid something would grab my ankle . I'd always run and then jump onto the bed.
disappointing my parents, hurting my mum, making my biological father angry
That my mother would actually, literally kill me. She was always physically violent/abusive to me (and my father), and she once pressed a gun to the underside of my chin when I was 6 and said she would unalive me. When I told my teacher about it at school the next day, and the principal called my parents in for a meeting, my mom lied and said I'd seen it in a movie and was making it up. I lived in constant fear that she would chop my hands and feet off with a butcher's knife/cleaver - I had precedent; she used to use a knife to cut my dad's back and arms. I wish I was exaggerating. Anyway! She's somehow still alive and ngl, I STILL fear her physical abuse even though she is 79 🙃
Spiders and whirlpools. Particularly draining pools and empty pools. They creeped me out. Thought I'd get sucked in if the pool drained while I'm in it.
The bogyman that lives under the bed.....
I'm over it now. 👌
It’s closed now so imma share mine in the comments😌 I was afraid that sometimes when I went to the bathroom, a snake would pop out the toilet and bite my lil booty😭
