When I was like 12-13, I went to a Starbucks with my mom and little sister, after a few minutes, a clown came in, and order a hot cocoa, and then just sat down, was really weird to my 12 or 13 mind.

Not really that weird I guess, but the only time I have been in a Starbucks was when I went to Canada. It was one of the last days of my holiday and I was in Niagara Falls, trying to find somewhere to warm up (it was winter). After a bit of walking not much else was open so I went into Starbucks and the weird thing was, it was the first place I had been to in Canada (I was there for 4 weeks) that actually had alternatives to regular milk! I am lactose intolerant and usually drink lactose free milk at home, but nut milks are ok too. Starbucks was the only place where they didn't stare at me weirdly when I asked if they had other milk, or offer 2%. It was extra weird because all I knew about Starbucks previously is stuff I read, about them being a huge corporation and not having 'proper' coffee and here they were being the most user friendly cafe for me in Canada. Sorry for the long post :)
