Hey Pandas, What Was The Coolest Animal You’ve Seen In The Wild?
Whether it be looks or sheer majesty, what was the coolest animal you've ever seen? What made it amazing?

I was on Vacation last week and there was this flock of crows that lived around our house. One day, they're all hanging out in a tree, and I'm reading my book on the deck. Then, they all of a sudden fly out of the tree and fly into a tree on the opposite side of the deck. While they were flying, I saw a white bird that I immediately thought was a White Crow. My mom said it was probably just a Seagull (We were near a lake) but I knew what I saw.
Anyway, the next morning me, my dad, my sister, and the bonus grown-up went kayaking and my mom couldn't come because my brother was sick. When we got back, she said that it was 100% a White Crow, and that it had been hanging around all morning. Sure enough, I look outside, and there it is in a tree, hanging out with another crow who I assume is its mate.
The strangest thing about this crow is that it's not Albino. Its beak, legs, and its wing and tail tips are all black. It also had black eyes, so it was clearly not Albino. That crow won the genetic lottery or something.
On the day we left, we saw the crow hanging out with its mate again, and we decided to name the White Crow 'Strix', a bird from Greek Mythology. And as for its mate, we named him Ordinary Joe, because he was just a normal boring black crow.
Took a trip with my aunt when i was 14. Road trip in an rv yahoo. Needless to say my teenage attitude kicked in. Half way through we were staying in a cabin in yellowstone National park.
I opened the door and a Buffalo was standing there. Just chillin. It was huge. I slowly walked back into the cabin.
When we still lived on the coast of South Africa there were a pair of orcas that hung around for a couple days. We were able to vet some good views of them jumping and playing in the ocean through our spotting scope. I've never seen something that cool before
I once saw a flock of Blue Jays chase away an owl or a hawk, some big raptor. But the way the battle carried out, the sheer number of blue jays, and their agility in the sky was just amazing. Afterwords, the blue jays each took a section of the sky and patrolled it, flying in circles a couple times, to make sure it didn’t try to sneak back and it really was gone
I have seen goanna/monitor while camping twice now. The first one was so chill, it climbed a tree for a bit, then went around our tent and down to the river. The second was looking for food and went into a couple of gazebos and tents.
An okapi, it’s related to the giraffe. I remember when I was at Disney World and I saw one and I thought it was the most majestic creature.
Calico male cat. These are extremely rare and always sterile. Calicos are almost always girls. This was 42 years ago and I’m still freaking excited I happened upon it
A Lynx a few feet away. He came up the hill where I was sitting sat down about 10 feet away and started licking him/herself. Saw me and went back down the hill
Next to my mother there’s a garden that belongs to a beautiful villa that’s the headquarters of our football club. There are plenty of trees and subsequently a lot of pigeons. Every couple of months a man comes with an eagle to scare them away. Not only are could have a close up look. He let me pet him. Gorgeous majestic animal.
Idk how to post stuff so here- I was biking with my sister a couple days ago and we usually go on this trail, so when we went we decided to go on the unpaved part of the trail, and we saw a fox pop out of the bush! It stopped looked at us and then left and yeah
Cool story! Also, to post to a community list, as long as it's open, you should be able to click the add answer button, type whatever you want to say, and then hit post.
