If you're time's up! What song or songs would you want to be played? No matter the lyrics or style. Anything that fits your character or your likings.

To answer my own question, some ideas of mine:
If I Ever Leave This World Alive by Flogging Molly
Love You 'Till The End by The Pogues
Paradise City by Guns 'n Roses
Auld Lang Syne by Mairi Campbell
on a funnier note:
Always Look On The Bright Side of Life by Monty Python
Either “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees or “Another One Bites The Dust” by Queen
Whatever my family, and friends would like to play since I'm dead, I wouldn't care. I would just want to make them happy.
Either the Coffin Dance song, or Goodbye by Bo Burnham. The "Byeeeeeee" is amazing, and also it's a nice goodbye. If I die because of a gun, I am ABSOLUTELY haunting people if they don't play Shots at my funeral.
How could I say goodbye
-Dean Lewis
Wish you the best
-Lewis Capaldi
Love both these songs and would love them to be played at my funeral.
mary on a cross - ghost - its my fav song and it sounds absolutely beautiful. i love how it has multiple meanings. also the slowed down version sounds pretty emotional. when i die, i want this to be a song i'm remembered by. (this song also must be played multiple times)
the coffin dance song - im known as quite the jokester irl (and maybe online to heheheh) so this is def a classic
songs that hold memories, songs that i've performed(dance/sung) to, or songs that i've been obsessed with at one point in my life
take on me - its an amazing song and i love the music vid
background tracks from my fav shows/movies - i want some of my interests to be there in one way or another but i feel like it would be highly inappropriate if everyone is mourning and the tmnt theme is playing in the background lol. so i feel background music/tracks are better. also there are specific ones that fit the mood too
I'm not epic enough for this song, but I like the idea of The Long Song (from Doctor Who) being played at a funeral.
Red River Valley would be cool too.
The Chicken Dance
Ok, I'm joking, but probably something like Il Dono Della Vita by Maneskin or perhaps In the Aeroplane Over the Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel (that's the song that saved my life a while ago)
I will never miss the opportunity for Never Gonna Give You Up.
And ofc my other favorite songs from my playlists.
"Bugger Off" by the Real McKenzies
"You'll never walk alone" by Dropkick Murphy's
Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen because it's my favourite song
Keep yourself alive by Queen
All Dead, All dead by Queen
Actually lots of Queen songs more than I could write down here
Blackbird by Lisa O'Neill
Always Look on the bright side of Life by Monty Python
Somewhere over the Rainbow - Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwoʻole. Lovely song and a beautiful version
oh ana — mother mother
i’m still standing — elton john
stayin’ alive — bee gees
mother mother has a bunch of my favorite songs, including oh ana :DD
I think "We're Alive" by Cavetown would just be funny to play, hence the name, that and "I Wait for You" by Alex G/alex_g_offline, i just like the song.
Alive by Sia
But like, just the chorus part so it screams "IM ALIVEEEE" like from my coffin.
Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, from Monty Python's "Life of Brian"
The closing theme song of Adventure Time
Close My Eyes Forever by Lita Ford and Ozzy Osbourne
(The song my mother had picked out for her funeral service, "In the Arms of an Angel" by Sarah McLachlan, my idiot pastor lady fought with me about it. She said she didnt think it was "appropriate" 🙄 It doesn't matter, that's what she picked! Lady agrees.. then swapped out the song to some Jesusy nonsense that we did NOT approve of. I was so hurt.)
Probably I Hate Everything About You by Three Days Grace or Everything Stays from Adventure Time.
My daughters know I want the song My Friend by Crystal Lewis played at my service along with my favorite song The National Anthem.
