Mine would be “Gennifer Flowers” by Fever Dolls. It is about Bill Clinton’s affair, which I find funny because that’s such a random topic for a song. I like how it talks about it in the broader discussion of politics and power, and judgement towards ambitious women. Plus it’s super catchy!
"Emerging Souls“ by Vomito Negro
"Pain“ by Boy Harsher
"Voyage Voyage“ by Black Nail Cabaret
These songs are all rather monotonous, and for me, listening to them is like meditation.
I just realized that the name of the first band might sound offensive, so I would like to point out that it is not meant to be racist at all. The band just chose the Spanish term for a medical symptom of yellow fever as their name. I would delete my submission, but that's not possible. I'm sorry.
"Pardon me, I have to go now" by Hanabie..... All girl hardcore punk/ metalcore from japan.... Heavy, fast, loud and still the cutest song I've heard in ages..... Can't get enough of Hanabie at the moment!!! Cheers me up.....
This Is Where I Am by Rapture. Both music and lyrics represent my emotions quite accurately.
This is a bit niche but Mood by Kes & Shaggy. If anyone wants to feel a Caribbean carnival vibe, listen to this song.
You’re the devil in disguise by Elvis Presley, it’s in the movie Lilo And Stitch, which is my favourite Disney movie, Stitch is so cute and funny. Elvis Presley was so talented, he was so cool.
