What it says on the tin. Because its midnight and I’m feeling dysphoric.

For me, it’s either tank tops or bathing suits. I’ve done dance my whole life (since I could walk) and from when I was 9 to when I was 14 I refused to wear the proper tank top leotard because of societal standards on armpit hair. Bathing suits have the same PLUS they are very gendered, and as an AFAB person who does not present as female, it is hard to find ones that are *ahem* legal, and comfortable for me gender-wise.

I’ve dealt with body shaming my entire life. School dress codes made me ashamed of my body, so, almost twenty years after graduating from high school, I still follow the high school dress code almost to a T. No shorts, no midriffs exposed, no shoulders exposed, no cleavage. Nothing form fitting, no dresses. My makeup is very minimal because we were sexualized by teachers and administrators, and I still remember the leering of my 70+ year old Japanese language teacher.

Essentially, I dress like a genderless amorphous blob due to being made to feel so self conscious about myself in my formative years.

Dress codes are the devil's a*s. Although, being a genderless blob sounds like me during summer vacation.

I cannot stand flip-flops! I will go barefoot in Chernobyl before wearing a pair. Its as if some genius one day said 'Im gonna invent some footwear that exposes the most vulnerable part of the appendage!'. Ive stepped on enough nails, staples, thumb tacks, legos and stinging insects to know they all hurt way worse on the top of my feet. Plus my feet dont need to wear thongs!

Leggings worn with a shirt that doesn’t cover the butt. I feel like I’m literally walking around naked. I wear tight jeans but pockets make all the difference mentally for me.

Same! Actually, I would probably be fine with it but my mother never let me, making it feel even more sexual to me.

Bras. Horrible things. Awful inventions. I wouldn’t touch one with a ten foot barge pole. Even if they can look pretty and someone else may enjoy them. I’d sooner wear a corset. At least that’s comfortable.

I’m actually gonna respectfully disagree with this one. I find them much more comfortable than not wearing one, although I agree that people assigned female at birth should have the option without feeling uncomfortable or attacked.
