What was the best thing that happened to you in school?

That one time we had a science competition in sixth grade, using eggs as test subjects. My group named our egg Timmy, and he survived being dropped from the second floor with no cracks, (he was in a padded box that we built ourselves with limited supplies of assorted junk, as that was the challenge.) and driven around in a tiny chariot that we also built, reusing the supplies from the box. (second half of the egg challenge.) They held a race with all the little egg chariots, and Timmy made it to first place. No clue how that happened. Think it was a combination of luck and good design. First time I'd actually won anything at school. To make a long story even longer, Timmy got a formal award for #1 survival and serving our science classroom, signed by our science teacher herself. Cannot stop laughing when I think about that. ;)
So much random stuff happened in my elementary school. Mainly the 4th and 5th grade field trips. Those were lit.
when my best friend asked me out, it's been almost 3 months since we've been together and it's been the happiest time of my life, I'm so in love with him
In elementary school, for Christmas, we had a huge pancake buffet for the whole grade. We watched movies and ate junk pancakes loaded with whipped cream, sprinkles, and loads of other sweets, for the last half of the day. It was amazing, probably one of the best school days I've had lol.
I wish this happened at my school . . . we get one slice of pizza at the end of the year.
our school takes us to a place called greenkill in 5th grade winter, its like a place in the woods with cabins activities and fun. we crossed a rope bridge over a river, climbed mountains and cuz it was cold, a half frozen waterfall! they also gave us a birb show, whare they showed us owls and eagles and they did a bbq for dinner. the cabin that i got, was awesome! it was school cuz, they were tryna teatch us sience in the prosses. at a point our group wnt inside and we played with little snakes and a turtle we also learned how to use a compass! this was real fun!!!
it was in kindergarten and me and a bunch of my friends had a screaming contest (I won btw) and we screamed so loud that our screams covered up the sound of the bell and we just stood there trying to scream the loudest and we didn't know the bell went off than one my friends looked back and didn't see anyone because they were heading inside. We thought we were going to be in trouble so we raced to the door last second to get in. N one else knew.
sounds like something I would do at my apartment complex. 5+ kids from school live there. we don't play anymore cause of covid, but it was fun and prob the highlight of my day
Probably my last day at my old school, It was the day I came out to everyone and started dating my best friend :) (Ironically also the reason i got pulled out of that school, My parents dont support LGBTQ+ and they thought i was trying to be "Rebellious" when i came out, so they made me switch schools.)
Come on, we all love the moment when the teacher seats you next to your crush! :3
Or the moment when your teacher has a randomized seating chart but you cheated the system for two months to sit next to your crush...
School drama cause i don't fit in and its the best way to have fun because i don't usually talk much to anyone.
I had literallly just broken my finger one day ago and apparently now were going on a field trip!!!! So i stuffed into a sweaty bus with every fricking movement in my hand hurting like heck, for 30 minutes! Luckily for me i have the best friends EVER so they took me off the pain, and i got So much say apathy from teachers and classmates alike that week, so its not all bad.
In 5th grade, my teacher lost an assignment for the first grade of the quarter, and I was failing the class until they found it over a month later. (best memory is the relief of not failing the class anymore, probably wouldn't have been able to go onto 6th grade if they hadn't found it)
My eighth grade Social Studies teacher taking me aside and telling me I was hiding my beauty under all of the make-up I was wearing. I was appalled and embarrassed at the time, but in the long-run I came to see that it was a classy move. I continued to wear makeup until I was in my mid-20s, when I realized it made me feel really insecure (is he looking at my makeup and wondering why I have blue eyelashes?) and I just stopped. I also stopped shaving my legs and under my arms as well. I felt much better presenting myself to the world without subterfuge.
