Hey Pandas, What Is The Most Paranormal Thing That’s Ever Happened To You? (Closed)
I just want to see how weird everyone else's lives are!

I commented on this on another post. Once I woke up and there was a figure standing next to my bed. I panicked, run towards the other side of the room and hit the window (that was closed, I was lucky). The hot made me wake up completely and I saw that the room was empty I was just still half sleep. I do not believe in paranormal things and I know that it was just a dream (I tend to have moments of half sleep half awake). But it scared the s**t out of me.
My sisters partner had past away 4 days before I stayed with her in their house. I was asleep but woke up feeling that there was something different in the room. I opened my eyes and saw him in the corner of the room, he was stood shaking his head. He was outlined in a very faint orange glow. I panicked slightly and found the light switch for the lamp. I turned it on but nothing was there. She later told me that he had spent the last few days of his life in that room before going to the palliative care hostel. I didn’t tell her what I saw until many years later when she said that she believed in ghosts. I have never had any experience like this before in my life, and to this day I do believe that I saw him.
One day I woke around 5 am, because I had dreamt about a friend I hadn’t been in contact with, or heard of for close to 30 years.
I didn’t remember the dream. But that whole day he stayed on my mind, so I decided to see if I could find him on social media.
I sent him a friendship request and a message and got an answer from his brother.
The evening before around 10 pm my friend had died from cancer.
He was in The Netherlands and I was in Singapore.
The time difference was exactly 7 hours.
I was 11 (1991) when we moved into a rented house. I heard my mom occasionally talking to another person as if they were there, but my sister and I were in our bedroom and my dad was at work. The person was a woman. Once, I heard a crash, like something was thrown against a wall. My mom said that she knew what the lady was trying to do and it didn't scare her. I went downstairs and asked what was wrong, my mom said nothing and was cleaning up a plant pot that was broken on the floor. My mom and dad took a weekend job putting ads in the Sunday newspapers. I would be woken up and sit in the living room for a few hours until they came home. On one of those nights, I had a sudden feeling of intense dread. It felt like something was next to my chair and watching me. It went away after a few minutes and everything felt normal again. Years later my mom told me the house had been haunted.
I was 9. With my family in the car, It's snowing hard. We hit black ice, rolled into the ditch. The car was totaled. It stopped snowing. Within seconds, these 3 guys are helping us get out. Everyone is miraculously fine. My mom got a bruise on her arm, but that's it. We are all checking on each other and look to the guys to say thank you. They are gone, left no footprints. We sat in some strangers car to keep warm after that. Crazy experience, but not creepy.
Thank you Shaylie for keeping us warm!!
This didn't happen to me, it happened to my great grandmother. There was a really bad tornado in my small Texas town in 1992 and my granny was in the bedroom of her apartment. She was about to go in her living room, but she said something was holding onto her and wouldn't let her go in there. She was in the apartment by herself. At that same time, some roofing flew off a building near her apartment and it went through her roof and ended up in her living room in the exact spot she would have been if she had gone in there. She thought that God was holding her back to keep her out of harm's way.
Me and my friend go for a drink after work, once per week or so. We have our favourite pub - small, cozy place with one room on the ground floor and two rooms with bathroom in the basement. Well... TWO rooms.
One day we went to 'our' pub. We were right after work and my friend never drinks alcohol anyway as he's usually driving, so we were both completely sober. We ordered a beer for me and cola for him and went down, to the basement. And - to our incredulity - there was only ONE room, instead of two. For a second I thought there is something seriously wrong with me, but then my friend said: 'There were TWO rooms before, wasn't there?'
We looked at the wall - no sign indicated that there was a door before. The paint was old (there were even scratches and stains in some places), there was no trace of the doorframe... Mind you, we were there one week ago, so the paint would still be fresh. We went as far as to ask the bartender what happened to the second room.
'What second room?,' she asked incredulously.
We decided our minds are collectively messing with our memories, so we just finished our drinks and left. Of course, we came back one week later. And guess what?
THE SECOND ROOM WAS THERE AGAIN!!!
And again, no traces of fresh paint, demolitions, new doorframe... nothing.
'You see it too?,' my friend asked.
We are still going there for our drinks, at least when it's possible because of pandemic. And the second room is always there. There was only this one instance when it vanished.
I'd think I just went crazy but my friend also remembers that. To this day, we still don't know what the hell was that.
I've seen a lot but I think the most eventful was when I was tending my daily chore of loading the dishwasher and seeing a dark shadow figure glide across the middle of the kitchen towards the dining room. And also seeing a pair of scissors that were up in my room nearly bludgeon my friend's head when they flew like plane into the kitchen. No one believes me and it's not like it was a time when we had cellphones on hand to record everything. Not like we would have caught the activity in time, either way.
