at the choir christmas party this year, the best gifts were: a ken doll, a baby xylophone toy (i brought that one hehe), a mug with our choir teachers' faces on it, gift cards were a favorite, blankets also (bonus if it's a funny one).

I came across a 'book' called Flora Sticker Studio. It's 850 stickers of flowers. Swear on everything I hold dear, it was the best ten bucks I've ever spent. You can make your friend's day, you can make a stranger's day, you can put them up in random (not private property) places around the neighborhood. The number of folk I've met, who were just having a bad day who've looked through it, and said "This one reminds me of my mom." is in the hundreds.
