There has been a lot of hate towards Americans lately, and I think we should point out some things we love about other people, not hate. Let's build each other up instead of pushing each other down!

American here: might be a little biased, but in my experience, Americans tend to be a lot politer than is required, especially when interacting with someone in retail/customer service.
I always order like I'm asking permission to eat the food I want. "Can I have dish name, please?" A waiter told me no once and I looked back to the menu for plan B
Have you met a (decent human being) Southerner? It's full on aggressive hospitality.
Load More Replies...I'm 25% American and I just love the chaos of Americans!
Chaos? What chaos? No chaos here, nope... *slowly shoves Florida under the bed*
How they are confident to a point it gets a little annoying.😂 No fear of eye-contact or saying hello or small-talk in public areas. They can afford to be blunt. Also all the random politeness.😁
Not everyone! Take me for example! I'm an Antisocial Basement Gremlin.
I don't really know how to describe it, but it's like everyone of them has a strange contrast to their personalities, and I kind of love it!
In the south (Mississippi, Louisiana, etc), I met some of the most welcoming people I've ever encountered, yet they all had a dark side. Some racist, some openly criminal, some simply medieval in their views.
In the North Eastern states (New York, Pennsylvania, etc) there was so many people that were rude, but helpful at the same time. Like the guy that simultaneously insulted me and gave me directions.
I think it’s rude to kinda place us all in one box. As someone from NJ(very similar to Penny and NY) most people are introverted and mind their own business. Some people are mean but some people are just naturally sarcastic. Please don’t treat anyone no matter where they come from like an experiment under a microscope.
Rasslin'. Yup, almost the entire globe has it now and it likely existed elsewhere before America but it has to be said that organizations like NWA, Smoky Mountain Wrestling and most definitely WWWF/WWF/WWE pretty much popularized the whole industry. Of course, these days some non-American promotions are better than others *cough* WWE, buck up Vince *cough* but it has to be said that America pretty much helped in popularizing pro wrestling.
Other than visiting The US a couple of times for short periods, I haven’t had that much personal interaction with an American.
The ones I met on holidays were very nice.
I love myself and all other seattlites but in general America sucks and is hell on earth. I'm gonna go to Canada and leave this shitshow behind when I finish college.
I don't know if you know this...but Canada is not really better than the US. I grew up there and it definitely has issues too. The US just is always in the world spotlight.
