What is a video game that isn't appreciated enough?

Sly Cooper
You get to play various characters who have their own skills and ways of getting around. There's a espionage, action, exploration. It's pretty much an open world. I like the first and second games where there's the bottles to find.
You get to travel to different parts of the world and there's all these levels and mini challenges. It's just hard enough on some levels to get that nice sense of satisfaction, but there are easier levels that are just more fun to do.
Each boss is different and they give every character a backstory and just enough depth to keep you engaged in the story line.
I get the humor aspects and I like the more childish graphics that makes it easier to see things.
Chrono Cross. Everyone goes on and on about Chrono Trigger, but I honestly didn't like Trigger at all. It didn't have any appeal, any mystique or draw. Heck, you could fight the final boss from the very start of the game. To me, that feels kind of cheap and boring. But Chrono Cross? That was a truly magnificent game. The story was incredible, and the game play was challenging. It had the mystique and allure of the very best games. The music was mesmerizing, and the world they built for this game was entrancing. The characters were all fun, and having to pick only certain characters for your party felt like a wrench because they all were such fun and fleshed out characters. There are references in Cross to Trigger, but to be perfectly honest you could know nothing about Trigger and fully enjoy this game.
