This creepy historical fact is personal to my immediate family.

In 1774 during Lord Dunmore's War on the Shawnee and Mingo natives men from my maternal grandfather's family fought for Dunmore against my paternal grandmother's Shawnee family. There is even a statue in Point Pleasant, WV commemorating it.

King George the first I believe died because of diarrhea. King Charles the second was so inbred that he could barely speak and had a huge tongue that caused that.

He also had something called the ‘Habsburg Jaw’ which is a grossly extended lower jaw. You can see it in his portraits. And the portraits were always prettied up so the king would not look less that good looking, for all the portraits of the nobility back then.
