This has probably been asked a lot, but I wanted to ask it anyways. I don't have many unpopular opinions, other than the fact that the only condiment I like is mayo.

I do not believe that there is a 'correct time' to eat any meal. I understand that you cannot eat very heavy meals very late at night. But if you eat early I do not see an issue of making a dish typically made for lunch as dinner. Specially nowadays when most people do not eat lunch at home because of work.
It might seem dumb but in my country eating certain things (like paella) for dinner is seen as a sacrilege.
American cheese is not cheese. It is a sweetened plastic product. I love cheese, but blue cheese and American cheese are the worst. American cheese makes me want to vomit 🤮🤮
Avocados are good :)
Anything grape flavored is terrible. I know it's such a popular flavor, but it all tastes like grape medicine. It's not even sweet. They all taste the same. AND NONE OF THEN EVEN TASTE LIKE GRAPES.
If I remember right, grape flavoring doesn't taste like grapes because the grape it was based off no longer exists.
I actually love oatmeal raisin cookies…. sometimes over chocolate chip cookies if the day’s right, pls don’t judge lol
Caramel lover here but never got the salted caramel craze. Blech. Sorry.
Bacon, eggs, hash browns...breakfast for dinner, ymmmmm..
It use to be a treat at our house. However, on a side note, as a child, we were dirt poor and we RARELY were fed breakfast.....nothing, NADA. Same for lunch. We were lucky to have a dinner where I didn't leave the table STILL hungry!
I absolutely hate ketchup!
The best wing is the flat. Period.
What's a flat wing? (We don't eat wings as much as Americans do, and my family decided not to eat them at all because there is so little meat on them they seem like a waste of money)
Anything ketchup can do, BBQ sauce does 1000x better. Ketchup should not be a thing.
Cilantro is nasty! Tastes like soap. Ketchup tastes to much like vinegar.
I don't like cilantro either. However, the reason it tastes like soap to some but not everyone is due to a gene. https://www.allrecipes.com/article/why-does-cilantro-taste-like-soap/
In Egypt Egyptian beans is very popular most days I eat it at breakfast but sometimes I have it at lunch not breakfast and sometimes I have it at dinner not breakfast nor lunch , the amazing about Egyptian beans that it's eaten since Pharaohs till now and it's suitable for any of the 3 meals but no one bears eating it at the 3 there's also falafel it can be eaten with beans.
I think filet mignon is overrated. I'd prefer skirt steak or hanger steak any day.
Cheddar cheese and apple slices. My teacher introduced it to me and I really liked it.
Mustard makes Mac n cheese taste cheesier.
I've only recently gotten into mustard, because as a kid I only tried American mustard and mustard powder which I didn't really like. Now I have had wholegrain mustard I love it and add it to so many things!
Cheese filled hot dogs are disgusting. When I was younger, my mom bought hot dogs and when I bit into one, it tasted weird. I asked her what it was and she said it was a hot dog. NO, DUH! I asked her what was inside of it and she said it was cheese. Cheese in the hot dogs? Yes. My mom said they're good. I said no they're not. I refused to eat the rest of the hot dog. My mom did this two more times trying to convince me they were good. No thanks. If I don't like something once, there's no way you'll ever get me to like it.
Salted liquorice (i.e. the "ammonium chloride" kind) from the Netherlands or Denmark is the best.
Fries with ketchup and mayo ("Pommes Schranke", "railway level crossing barrier fries" in German) are better than with ketchup alone. The Dutch version with mayo and chopped onions isn't bad, too.
And then there are cheese filled tortellini with soy sauce.
I always mix sweet and salty popcorn when we go to the cinema. And then my friends and those behind the counter look at me as if I have two heads.
We can only get salted popcorn at cinemas here, unless you buy a bag of the coloured popcorn, which they don't always stock because not many people buy it.
Spaghetti is over rated. And bacon. And hamburgers. You'd never know how offended people could be lol
Bacon I agree with, but I am in love with pasta and also love burgers. I feel offended lol.
There is no "one-type-fits-all" diet. What works for me might not work for you and vice versa.
Cilantro is TERRIBLE!
Cilantro itself is not terrible. The problem is that some people like me or likely this submission author is that we have a gene that enhances the chemicals in cilantro. Cilantro has lots of properties used in soap and as a result it tastes like soap for us!
Bacon is repulsive!!!
Ohhh also I can't stand the taste of artificial banana flavor either!!!
I don’t like cheese. At all. Or any Dairy products really. There’s a few exceptions to that second one though.
Yeah I'm not a big fan. I like ice cream, but I do prefer popsicles anyway. Milk for me is disgusting.
I don't like beer and wine. None of it, no matter what type, what brand. In almost 30 years of living on this Earth I never encountered any beer or wine I ever liked and I've tried a lot of them.
Lots of people don't and that's perfectly fine. I can see why you wouldn't. I'm not a big beer drinker (even less so now I can't have gluten) but the taste is harsh a lot of the time. Wine I do drink more, but again I can understand not liking it, it can hit the palette weird. My brother's girlfriend doesn't like them either, or any alcohol really, so at our most recent get together I made sure to buy a variety of 'fancier' non-alcoholic drinks and found a lime mineral water which was amazing and I will be buying more lol.
I don’t like chicken! Most people then assume I’m a vegetarian but I’m just a red meat girl! I don’t do seafood either 🤮🤢
I don't like seafood. I like my chicken and fish to be breaded. If it ant or any cooked with spices I don't want it
No seafood, only canned tuna. It's just so tasteless to me, it's wasted on me. Not that I haven't tried. Also, I hate ketchup. Never liked it. Not even on pizza
Ewwww! Ketchup on pizza? There's pizza sauce but it's definitely not ketchup!
I don't like pizza. Sorry! I mean, I still eat it with my family sometimes, but like, when we go to a pizza place I always opt for something else.
Not a fan of pizza, and pizza with ketchup is disgusting. I’ll it it only if I’m starving. Big lover of pepperoni though.
I am not a fan of white chocolate because it gives me migraines. Don’t like Chardonnay for the same reason. White Zinfandel is basically pink rubbing alcohol whereas real Zinfandel is amazing. Finally, never impressed with lobster or crab legs because the parts don’t equal the labor.
If you get sick, eating something then that's not controversial. I can't drink any zero/diet drinks or else I get sick.
Soy Sauce+Waternelon
Makes sense. I know several people who like melon (more often honeydew or "cantelope," which where I'm from usually refers to muskmelon) with salt.
I hate black beans!!!
I've never eaten them enough to remember what they taste like, but I gather they are really popular in Mexican and American cooking, so I imagine if you are from there they would be hard to avoid.
I love Pizza with anchovies and onions. The salty fishs and the sweet onion when baked. Awesome!
I can see that. I wouldn't order it but I would definitely try if offered
Ketchup on my poutine and Ketchup with hot sauce on my sheperds pie
I could see my stepdad putting hot sauce (but probably not ketchup) on his Shepard's pie. I want to try poutine, but I'm wary of the gluten and lactose content.
Turkey bacon is SO MUCH BETTER than regular bacon. Also wheat bread is better than white
I've never heard of turkey bacon. Is it just thinly sliced turkey that is fried? And is wheat bread the same as wholemeal or wholegrain? I prefer whole grain most of the time, but sometimes I really crave just white bread or white toast with butter, now that I've found a gluten free one that tastes like real bread.
Grill cheese with mustard, NOT ketchup!
Better yet, PLAIN GRILLED CHEESE! Not with American cheese though, instead try Munster cheese with it!
10:00 breakfast 1:00 lunch 5:30 supper
I can't stand bell peppers. Change my mind.
We call them capsicum in Australia but I agree! I had to pick them out of a lot of food when I was growing up.
I Don't like berries (except strawberries) or any sort of berry flavored thing including pastries with berries in them
I love Brussels sprouts, and broccoli. I really really hate any chocolate, yes including dark chocolate and including milk chocolate. Even chocolate ice cream or cake is a huge no thanks for me!
I love brussels sprout and broccoli (and even better, broccolini) but I also love chocolate (except white). I get why people don't like chocolate though, my sister doesn't either.
Ranch flavored anything. Dressing. Chip dip. Chip flavor. Dried ranch powder in seasoning. I do not understand the ranch obsession, and I’m American too. It’s nasty and repulsive. The smell alone makes me want to vomit.
Never had it, but apparently it is like the dressing we put on potato salad in Australia, which I do like. My sister doesn't like it though.

Sausage and peppers is disgusting. I'm a proud italian-american and grew up going to church bazaars where all the aunts and grandmas would be cooking it under these huge tents. Just the smell of it cooking makes me nauseous. I haven't ever been able to stomach it. I can't understand why people go so crazy over it.
I hate sausages, and the smell (which you have to walk past most weekends to get into the hardware store Bunnings) turns my stomach too. My mum and stepdad kept trying to get me to get different flavoured sausages, because their favourite meal is BBQ, but I hated them all.
Peanut butter, mayonnaise and American cheese sandwiches are fantastic. It is my go-to sandwich.
Hmm, peanut butter and mayo. I've never tried it but it sounds interesting. I don't usually like peanut butter with sweet things like chocolate but I did try it with banana and it wasn't bad. The American cheese I'm not so sure about. I've never tried it (I'm Australian) and the colour seems off putting to ma, but I want to try it to see if the taste is okay. I do like peanut butter and Australian tasty cheese.
Apples and mariana sauce. Apples and hummus are good too.
Apple and hummus I think would taste nice but marinara sauce (which we just call tomato/pasta sauce here) I'm not so sure about, but that might be because I don't like the strong tomato taste unless it's in a dish like pasta.
Water tastes terrible!
Depends where it's from. I like Melbourne water, but not Adelaide water.
I HATE Indian food!
I used to think I did too, but that was because all we'd ever had was hot curries like vindaloo, but now I cook and eat a lot of Indian food I love.
I don't like pasta or noodles.
Lots of people don't like pizza, a fact I think should be more well known :)
