There are always those things that sound too cliche to be true, but oftentimes they are great advice! What's a tip you received that's changed your life forever?

"Not my circus. Not my monkeys." It always makes me smile more than 'Worry only about what you can control" because then I see monkeys in my head!

Be the change you want to see in the world. Also: we blame the society yet we are the society.

Yup! Totally agree. There is nothing wrong with this world. It provides us with all the natural resources we need to live and sustain our lives. It is us that make it horrible. People do it and I'm tired of seeing people actually blame the universe and the world for their own actions.

Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

"Do unto others what THEY would like done." This one helped me realize that not everyone wants what I would want. It is important to find out what other people need and want and not get hung up on thinking everyone wants what I would want.

I always say "God Hates a Coward." when I am preparing myself to do anything stressful and for me it calms me and prepares me. I know it isn't the phrase that does it, but for me mentally I have to do this. The funniest part is, I am an atheist.

I don’t know if this is a expression but, you can’t get a job without experience and you can’t get experience without a job.

There's ways to get experience without a job. Want to be a bartender, invite some friends and make them drinks from a drink book.

When faced with a big financial problem or a just a lot of stress my husband and I will tell the other “You can’t fix it tonight.” It’s just our way of knowing no matter the issue is sometimes you need to take the time to just relax and unwind and not miss out on quality time together

Whenever I was under stress, my sister would say "Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things." I also got stuck on my mom's phrase of "Off like a dirty shirt" or "Off like a herd of turtles."

Sleep when the baby sleeps...
True, you shouldn't be bussy with your household while you can rest. Take the baby in a baby wrap to vacuum or put them in a cushion close to you when you do the laundry. When the baby sleeps, you sleep too!!
