I decided to bake irish soda bread. 1) I had school and not much time 2) it's one of my fave recipes to make 3) its my own recipe too. ☺️

That's a lovely idea and a) being a dad and b) having been unemployed several times in my life (once was for about 2½-years), I'm pretty sure he'll love it. If he has a favourite type of bread, you could bake a loaf of that, or if you know the sort of things he likes, or might like, but never has tried, go for something very different, such as pumpernickel bread or something more simple, ut for example, where you plait the dough into a twist (https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/eight-strand_plaited_57815)
