I’m basing this on a Tumblr post I saw—someone mentioned that their past resolutions included trying as many shapes of pasta as they could in a year or buying and eating a fruit they’d never tried before while reading its Wikipedia article. I want to hear about your fun resolutions that add a touch of whimsy to your life! Feel free to share your ideas, or use this as inspiration for your own delightful resolutions.

Here are mine, both fu and general
- each month read fairy tales or myths with themed snacks and/or music, then draw a map based on the places in the stories
- take more walks, but with a theme (look for things shaped like stars, find things of a certain color, etc)
- paint rocks and hid in places
- leave small notes in places (potted plants, library books, etc) with a compliment
- take up at least one more challenge (i do goretober and nanowrimo)
- send aesthetic letters to my friends
- act on ideas (if i want to move my bookshelves i will or things like that)
- do literally anything ‘for aesthetic purposes’
- host themed hangouts at least a couple times (fairy picnic, crow party, starry night, etc)

General
- write every day, either on story or in journal
- drink water every day
- be more mindful/grateful

New Year’s resolutions should be fun y’all! They should make you wanna do them!

My resolution is to find the will to continue existing through the next year.

I've been there too. I find some good reasons, like my family will miss me, and some silly reasons, like how I must outlive my enemies

My resolution is to Not make a resolution. No more yearly lie that I tell myself, and end up not doing. I'm going to simply start walking again, and eating low carb/keto again. I've already started it, so it's not exactly a resolution is it?

My first resolution is that all subsequent resolutions will be held to be variable and non-binding.
