There are hundreds of animated shows out there, and some inevitably slip under the radar. Which one do you think deserves the spotlight?

My answer may not be as unappreciated as the rest but...

Trollhunters Tales of Arcadia... Great story, good characters and overall a fun fantasy show, a little silly at times but this and the other two series were all very good. Movie wasn't great though

Yessss, someone else who's watched Trollhunters. Personally, I thought the movie was actually pretty good up until the end. (I also hated the Steve subplot)

Adventure time.... because of the animation style, It just gets classified as " kids stuff" but in reality it really is deep and philosophical..... It has more emotional maturity than most things made for adults......

One of my personal, all time favorites: the anime My New Boss is Goofy. It is presented as a "slice of life" about a man recovering from workplace abuse trauma and re-learning what it's like to be healthy and happy... but it's so much more than that. On top of all sorts of cutesy stuff, it really is a ballad of recovery and hope and the MC's mental illness isn't disregarded or downplayed for comedy as you might expect.

It was extremely impactful and heartwarming. I would recommend this to everyone (not just those who have experienced an unhealthy workplace)

I'm gonna get so downvoted for this, but... High Guardian Spice. Yes, the "anime" that the entire internet bashed a few years ago. I watched it a few years ago, and it was NOT as bad as everyone made it out to be, imo. The first few episodes weren't that good, but as I watched more and more, I slowly found myself geniunely enjoying it. I kept waiting for it to become awful, but it never did. And by the finale, I was completely baffled on why so many people hated it so much. After finishing the series, I found myself genuinely disappointed that the series was canceled. It had just started getting interesting! So, yeah, in my opinion, HGS certainly is not the best show ever, but it really wasn't that bad at all, and was majorly overhated. The most overhated show EVER in my opinion.
