I dislike it when people decide something or someone is hateful simply because they were told so.... Very reminiscent of racism.... Just a different set of identifiers... Hate is hate. However you harbor it, it still makes you hateful and detracts from any beauty you might impart on the world.

I love my best friend and her autistic son. Although he has a mental age of 8 (he is 33), he has more empathy, compassion, and love of life than anyone I know. He has many serious health issues, but that does not stop him. When I am having a bad day, I think of him, and kick myself.
I love Scotland, surprise, surprise. The Highlands and the Islands rejuvenate me, mentally and physically. Long walks and a peat fire, with a single malt scotch make for a perfect day/month/year. And I can't leave out Highland cows.
I love life. No matter how deep a hole is, I climb back out. It isn't always easy, but I do it.
I hate the people who make assumptions. They are wrong most of the time.
I hate Alzheimer's. It takes people away from us before their physical body departs. It traumatizes their loved ones. It makes you wonder if you to are destined for that life. It invades everything.
I hate covid and those who deny it. You have not felt the pain of death from this disease. You haven't felt the agony of watching someone die alone, except for the nurses who risk their own lives to care for them. I hope you never do.

I love God, laughter, and equality.
I strongly dislike those that cram their religion down the throats of others or persecute others for their religion. I strongly dislike those that hate. And I very much dislike the word hate. We are all different in culture, political views, sexual views, religion, and so on. INDIFFERENCE SHOULD BE CELEBRATED AND EMBRACED! The world would be a better place if we could just accept one another peacefully.

Your thoughts are admirable, Lovin' Life, but, sorry,.... If you "love God" as you say, then you have to abide by *His* dictates- not yours. So, when you say "The world would be a better place if we could just accept one another peacefully", keep in mind that God doesn't. He may still so~called "Love everybody", but it does not change the fact that He's the One who dictated the rules. And according to His rules, everybody's "different culture, political view, sexual view, religion, and so on" doesn't "cut it".... Only His does. Sorry to put "a wrench" in your belief system there, but that's what these forums are for, {in one manner},....

People wouldn't "hate cops", kirsten, if they didn't evolve into the corrupt, out-of-control, protected by filthy lawyers at tax-payer expense, hypocritical law-breakers themselves. Essentially, they have become 'LEGAL criminals', or, criminals themselves--- only they get to do it, and get away with it, legally. That's why people hate them. Just so you know.

You must also have the perfect medical system with no children being born with disabilities. And if perchance one is born, they will receive everything necessary to live a long life. I have to list four loves: my church family that has gotten me through a lot of darkness in my life, all animals, some people, and reading Bored Panda. One thing I really don't like is contributing something to BP but it being removed. This has happened several times. Two other things I don't like (hate is just too strong of a word) are people who don't accept me for myself but expect me to accept them for themselves, and gross food!
