I'd love to hear all pandas' opinions! Was Harris a good choice? Who will she choose as VP? Is she popular enough to beat Trump, especially after the recent assassination attempt? Please be respectful to both parties when answering. No hate!

I'm not American but I don't think America is ready for a female president let alone one of colour.

No, I just don't trust her in the slightest, something just feels off and wrong about her. But there aren't great options.

I am 100% in support of a woman or person of color as president...but I agree with you that I don't think Harris is the one.

So excited to have a candidate for president who is not a corrupt criminal!

To all of you who do not think the USA is ready for a female president - the rest of us do!

Can't wait to see a former prosecutor go against a current felon in a debate.

Not from/in the U.S.

I don't really know a lot about her, other than that her background is in Law (she was an attorney general, or something). Which, logically, shouldn't necessarily be a better or worse fit than someone with a background in economics. Both are necessary for the efficient running of a country.

My (somewhat) controversial opinion is that a lot of people will vote for her just because she is a woman, or because she is a person of colour, or both. Regardless of whether or not she would be a good fit for the job.
But then the opposite is also true; There will be people that will not vote for her, just because she is a woman, or because she is a person of colour, or both.

I do think that the recent attempt on Trump's life might swing back those that were either on the fence or swung away from him at the last election.

So overall, I think it will be a close race.

But then again, I base this solely on my lack of knowledge. I've never seen her speak, so I don't know how well she can move the people.

I support her 100%. We need an intelligent calm person that isn't looking to become a power hungry dictator. She is more aware of church and state being separate. She doesn't want to be buddies with Putin and Kim. She's not old, crusty and deranged. She won't abuse the military for personal gain. She's not a felon. Shall I go on?
