Tells us about the most homophobic person that you've ever encountered.

So one time I was at church with my family, and I had just come out as gay. In celebration of the occasion, I was wearing a t-shirt with the pride rainbow on it--'cause you know, I was out and I wanted to stay out. After the service, I was getting my coat and getting ready to leave with my family, when this old woman comes up to us and she looks at me and goes 'Sorry, love, do you know what the picture on your top means?' 'Uh, yeah.' I said. 'Well, I don't think you fully understand the implications of wearing a homosexual rainbow in a CHURCH!' 'Why?' I said. 'I'm a homosexual.' Insert outraged ranting, accusations of 'blasphemy' and the like. She finished by saying, 'You are a disgrace to your family, your country and your church!' 'Wow.' I said. 'Maybe if we wait long enough, a f**k will drop into my hand and I can give it to you.' Her face was priceless.

So one time on Among us someone said to me: "the lgbtq+ doesn't deserve rights and there are only two genders" and someone else said, "that the lgbtq+ are all going to hell". I told those b****** I'll see them in hell with me.

Among Us is a great game but it has some stupid players. Like one time I was in some lobby and some person asked if there were any girls. I was pretending to be Asui from My Hero Academia (because I like to do that, don't judge) so I said yes. Then they asked how old the people who said yes were. Luckily it was my lobby so I banned them. Another time when I was pretending to be Tsu some people were forming task-friendships (where people would follow each other around while doing their tasks so they were safer) in the pre-game lobby. Then somebody asked me and I said yes. they replied with "I'm 12 :)" and then someone said, "You're too young". I said "To be playing among us?" and they replied with "No, to date." I then realized the kid who asked me to do the tsk-friendship wanted to date and I told him that I was dating someone. (Sorry for the long comment, I had just never told that story before and wanted to tell it)

I mean, I feel like my little brother is homophobic because we were watching The Loud House, and a girl (Luna) kissed another girl (Sam) on the cheek, and my brother turned it off and went to my parents saying that there was a lesbian on TV and that two LGBT relationships on TV was too much, coz there were (Clyde’s) two dads who were gay, and then the two girls. My parents then proceeded to talk about gay things, like what it meant to be gay, blah blah blah. I then looked at my parents and asked if they were homophobic, coz I’m bi, and they shook their heads. I came out a few weeks ago, and my brother found the note I had written to my mom, and he was talking to me about it, yet he still doesn’t watch LGBT stuff, and he makes fun of it. Btw, he’s freaking 10 years old.

This happened recently, like a few weeks ago since we had just come back from online and were in person at school. I had come into home room a bit earlier than normal this morning and took my seat quietly. I have a super chill home room teacher who lets us have our phones before class as long as we’re quiet and respectful (no playing loud music without headphones etc.) So I took out my phone and was texting a friend. Two guys were already there. My school in general is very accepting and makes it very clear discriminatory behavior based on anything isn’t cool. Yay! This actually caught me very off guard. These two were very very opinionated politics wise and were total opposites. This may be the first thing they’ve ever agreed on. Somehow general politics turned to lgbtq topics. I wasn’t eavesdropping, but they were very loud and the room was smallish. The teacher wasn’t there either. They started taking shots at trans people and I was honestly stunned. “Your gender is what’s between your legs.” That kind of thing. They agreed to only call people by their legal names “just because they like to be difficult” I would’ve stopped them but I was mildly shook. Thennnnn somehow they switched to lesbians. I am a closeted lesbian and I was sick at what they said. “Attention seeking” and I’d say more but it’s explicit and disgusting. I was SHOOK. I resorted to frantically texting my friend for emotional support. :( I felt sick the rest of the day and so guilty because I never said a word but I was so caught off guard...

I was having a conversation with a super-Christian online friend and she was talking about how she wouldn’t read my short stories (it was a writing site) if they had lgbtq+ in them. Long story short, I was furious, she was all ‘God only made two genders’, and my online Bi and Pan friend was really afraid all the Sup-Christian friends wouldn’t like her. I told them if they cared, she shouldn’t be friends with them. In the end, my Bi and Pan friend is happy (she’s a bit sensitive) and I am NOT friends with the homophobic girl.

PLLLLLLLLCHHHHH (me, sticking my tongue out at all homophobic peeps)

Darlin' I'm a Christian and I get into arguments with the homophobic christians. Far as I'm concerned Jesus wanted us to love everyone, to treat them the way we would want to be treated. Everyone wants to overlook 'Don't judge lest you be judged in the way you judge others' or 'He whose without sin cast the first stone'. It's not my place to judge anyone for being who God (or your chosen belief) made them to be. If you want to be a papya then more power to you oh awesome fruity one! I also could care less what other people believe and I respect everyone's right to believe in what they want. I have several different parts of my own fam who believe in different religions and I love sitting down and hearing about what they believe. No Pastafarian's though so I'm losing at 'Which God/Goddess bingo' but I'll survive. *Pouts* Sure I can have Catholics and wiccans but not a SINGLE Pastafarian?! I have a lovecraftian but no, no dang Pastafarian.

When I was 12 I would always go to the park on Fridays to play with my buddies, which we will call Dan and Henry. Recently some 10 or 11-year-old girl had been following me and my friends wanting to play with us. Dan and Henry didn't really like this but that girl was kinda growing on me and I thought we could maybe become friends. So one day we were all talking and the kid pipes up and says, very proud of herself, "I think I like some guy in my school. He's very handsome". I respond with "I've seen some hot guys recently, but they don't really give off my type of aura". She's very visibly confused and says "Wait, you're a girl?" and I reply "No, I'm a fabulous bisexual boy, which means I like boys and girls". She is dumbfounded and says "You can't like boys, that's not allowed" and I say "Well, it is, and you can't stop me". She is now kinda mad looking and says "Well when you grow up you will marry a girl because that is the way it is." I tell her "No, I will marry who I want and I might not even marry!" She runs away and my friends and I start laughing since this was the only time we had ever encountered a homophobe, but we didn't know that that was just the pre-show. After 5 minutes the girl's mom (maybe grandma) walks over to us, looking mad but in a passive-aggressive way. She says "Hi, I heard you were telling my daughter lies and trying to trick her." Now, for this next part to make sense, you need to know 1 thing about Dan. He is a MASTER arguer. Start some sort of argument and from his extended knowledge of reading too much of r/entitledparents he can DESTROY someone with words. I start the argument with this homophobic lady saying "I told her the truth, that I am Bi and I like boys" and she is now MAD. So, I tap Daniel into the argument and me and Henry slip out while he talks in my place. According to Daniel, the lady was about to go to our parents, but her husband came up and told her they had to go now to get to the little girl's dance lesson.

When my daughter told us she was gay at 14 I was so proud. I knew anyway, but hearing her say it out loud was a beautiful moment. I told everyone! When I told my pastors wife, she put her hand on my daughters head, looked really sad and said "we'll pray for her to get better". I said "what on earth for? She isn't sick!" We never went back to that church again.

When I was in middle school I really liked this guy and almost started to go out with him. He told me on the bus he hated fags and queers and if he had his way there'd be open season on them like Deer.

My mom was a lesbian. She had a girlfriend. I was raised in the LGBT community. So yeah. I stopped talking to him and he couldn't figure out why. I was pissed, and scared, so I didn't say anything. He tried to confront me one day and one of my friends told him my mom was a lesbian and told him to fuck off.

Same school the Principal and Vice Principal kept trying to get my Mom's girlfriend to admit that she had 'just left their school 2 years ago' and tell them she was a minor and my mom was raping her. Yeah she was in her 30's. I think at one point they threatened to call the cops on my Mom because she wound up getting her Driver's License out to prove her age and those two bastards kept trying to say it was fake though they couldn't prove it.

I was with a straight friend window shopping in a gay community in San Francisco. The look on his face of overwhelming fear was almost comical. I asked him what was wrong and he told me he was really uncomfortable. I then asked him if he was attracted to EVERY female he saw. He said no. I then said " Then why do you think every gay man finds you attractive"? The look on his face was like a light went on. Never had an issue after that.

Ohh, as a raging homosexual with a wife, i find it only proper to comment my experience(s). When i was 13, I came out to my mother as a bisexual female. My whole family is Christian conservative, so she said, “That’s an abomination, ur gonna go to hell for that.” So 2 weeks later I told her that I’m not bisexual, I just realize how beautiful people are, she took my bull**** and was like, “Ok, well if you are really a homosexual I’m disowning you.” So then fast forward 3 years, i was walking in Chicago, with my gf of 2 years and some random old lady that looked about 70 or 75, and she said, “Wow, you are two beautiful best friends.” I said, “Ma’am, this is my girlfriend of 2 years, i plan on marrying this woman and staying with her for the rest of my life.” This woman said, “Oh, well you’re going to hell and i hope you get in a car crash and die.” I said, in a very defensive tone of voice, “Ma’am, i look forward to seeing you down with me.” Then my girlfriend said, “if we all stand here long enough, a F*** will fall into our hands to give to you.”that lady looked like she got stabbed and we could save her, but wouldn’t. Then when I came out to my gf as non-binary, we went shopping so we could get me a haircut and some clothes, afterwards this random man walked up to me and said, “no matter how much you change yourself, you’re always gonna be a female with those ti******.” Then he proceeded to touch them, good thing there was an officer nearby and went to court with me and defended on my breaking his hands and smashing his nuts. This isn’t even all of them.

My friends grandparents. At their mom’s birthday party, they referred to my friend using she/her pronouns instead of he/they pronouns and used their birth name instead of their real name (Axel)
