Did you know honey never goes bad? Archaeologists have discovered honey pots in ancient Egyptian tombs that are more than 3,000 years old but still perfectly edible.
There were at least two generations of star in our region of the Milky Way before our solar system formed. This is evidenced by the presence of certain elements in the Sun that cannot be produced by a star the size of the Sun itself. These previous stars were born, lasted possibly billions of years, and then died in an explosion more energetic than all of the energy we have ever produced as a species, spreading their remains over billions of miles of space. The remains of these stellar explosions then slowly clumped together over time due to gravity, eventually forming our Sun, the planets, and everything else in our solar system. This means that everyone and everything we know is literally made of star dust.

The two animals on the Australian coat of arms, emu and kangaroo, both can't walk backwards.
