I got surgery last October and I live abroad so I only had my partner as support. My aunt (whom I love but has a family of her own) offered (in a sincere way) to fly in the middle of the pandemic to take care of me. My own mother didn't even call me that day. I alaays loved my aunt but now its like x10.
Sorry that your mom didn't reach out to you but it was good to hear that your Aunt took care of you! And what type of surgery?[if you don't mind me asking]. Hope you have a quick recovery! :]
My aunt is such a lovely person :) my mum is sweet but not really proactive. I had excision for endometriosis.
Load More Replies...my BFF told me, “if you ever start drugs or smoking or tryna commit suicide, first I will find help for you and then I will hug you because you’ll be safe” 😭😍😊
I remember one time my mum made ginger muffins and a butcherbird came and sat outside the window. Without any training whatsoever, it took a crumb straight from my hand when I offered it. 5 years later, its great-grandchildren sit on my shoulders and arms. I'm the butcherbird whisperer 😂😂
Not me but about my partner. Yesterday he was driving back from work and he saw a very angry man yelling and pushing a woman repeatedly. He parked and went to help her (together with another woman) and stayed with her until the police came, took their statements and her mum picked her up. I am so proud of him. He is such a nice man.
