Being abused
This is a trick the abusers use to not get caught. Also, on some level, to be able to "live with themselves". In the Dark Ages, if a priest was aroused by a woman, it was always the woman's fault!! Unfortunately, society also uses victim-blaming for many reasons, mainly self-exculpatory. In Greece, I have heard men and women alike, saying things like: "Well, she was asking for trouble!!" It was NOT your fault and you did not deserve it.
I was the movies and watching a movie. I was messing around with a hair clip. I dropped it then the fire alarm went off. I thought I set it off since I dropped it. I never told anyone until I did some research and realized the frying machine set on fire and it wasnt me.
Everybody has always hated me and I felt very lonely. I thought it was because of my personality, my behavior, poor social skills or missed opportunities... But it eventually turned out that it was just because I am ugly.
I'm still saving money for surgery.
You don't need surgery. Beauty is so subjective! I was reading about a "vitriol victim", a woman who had acid thrown on her face, causing it to literally melt, and she said how her love and acceptance for herself, makes her feel beautiful every day. I saw her picture, and her words and confidence made her face radiate nothing but beauty. It made me say "wow"! When you un-focus your attention from this word: "ugly", you will feel like YOURSELF, and then try to give permission to yourself to feel beautiful. It's simply a matter of permitting yourself to feel it, because, there are no objective truths when it comes to aesthetics.
