I was 4 years old I think, but I still remember this clearly.
We were driving up a mountain, and it had this really winding road. My car seat was kinda broken, so my mom told my oldest sister to hold on to it, so I wouldn't fall. My sister held my car seat still for some time, than let go, just so I would get scared. My car seat almost tipped over at one point, but my parents didn't notice that my sister wasn't holding my car seat.
Not that crazy of a car trip, but for a 4 year old, it was.
Work road trip through rural Iowa. No cell reception. I'm a 25 yo girl. Dyke, Iowa if I recall. This is 1995ish. I am the only car for miles as far as I can tell. Some creeper tailgaited me for 100 miles (they could have passed me multiple times) and didn't stop until I pulled into a two horse town Post office to ask for help.
My husband and I were moving back to our home state and while going through Kansas pulled over at a truck stop to use the restroom. On top of the toilet paper dispenser was an empty tub of butter with a plastic fork in it. There were scrape marks all along the inside where someone had eaten the entire tub.
I recently went on an out west trip with my family. Well we where in Yellow Stone driving, we saw a whole line of cars and where wondering what was going on. When we looked at the first car we realized it wasn’t a car…. It was a bison walking in the lain pretending to be a car.
