TW: thoughts of SH

i've been feeling really tired and sleeping late recently--and even though I know my mental health has gotten better I still have random urges to SH and idk why. I don't really feel like i can talk to anyone abt this anymore so if anyone needs to vent here please let this be a space you can feel safe in

Have a lovely day

SH? Damn. Are you getting any professional help?

A rant? New woman at work, she has two kids and is separating from her husband. The husband has a very good job. He has been sending money to family to hide away, invest else where, he has previously stopped my colleague from working. So financially controlling arsehole who wants only a sah housewife. The woman has no monkey of her own. The house is being sold, is entirely in his name. Whilst she is entitled to some money, and will probably get some, the arsehole is not going to make it easy in any way. I am worried for the woman. And angry at men who are financially abusive/ controlling.

My parents do kind of know abt my mental health state but are pr traditional and don't believe in mental health or therapy. I feel super bad for the woman at your work and I hope that she finds her financial freedom. it's awful that there are men like that out there.

Okay, I am probably saying stuff you have already heard but, can you get help through school? Are you able to see a Dr, would a diagnosis help your case? Failing that have you tried meditation? Something you can do in private? In another thread about teas, I talk about a tea with lions mane mushroom, could you get something like that? I am talking legit mushrooms here, there are all kinds of mushroom powders that can help with mental health amongst other things.

Writing here only to be certain you will see it. If you're unable to get face to face help, there may be mental health hotlines available in your area that will provide knowledgeable advice. Also, depending on where either of your parents work, the companies may provide a free mental health therapy via phone or video.
Finally on a less urgent note, if you click on BP's Menu, you can access notifications under the subscription section of menu, but don't need to be a subscriber to open it.
