I had pet rats in college - they are wonderful little pets. My roommate got me a cute chubby rat for my 19th b-day. Turns out it wasn't chubby, and a week later, I had 9 pet rats 😂 and They are so tame if you handle them from a few days old. I also ran the rat lab, and one of my jobs was playing with them, so they wouldn't be stressed while the Behavioral Psych students taught them to run mazes. Loved the little guys 😍

I want a pet rat. Rats are the best! Their cute, cuddly, and really smart! Hamsters are just small, chubby, Pom poms.
