Zoey, I have generally found the Bored Pandas to be a positive and friendly group, but yes, I have seen comments that came across as homophobic, sexist &c. I'm not happy about it, but I'm also not very disturbed. LGBTQ+ people have made enormous progress in recent decades - the Stonewall riots were only fifty years ago. When I remember that I'm older than the LGBTQ Rights movement (I'm 51), I'm amazed at how much progress has been made. The Civil Rights movement started just a few years before I was born. Second Wave feminism really got going when I was a toddler. We have come a long way in a short time. That doesn't mean we're done, but it does mean we're on the road to victory.
