I recently came out to my uncles as nonbinary and they asked me what term to use instead of niece, I'm not sure what to answer with, any ideas?

(Replying to 𝕯𝖔𝖓𝖚𝖙𝕯𝖗𝖆𝖜𝖟𝖟 from WJE) No trans people are identifying as a literal dog, not even the xenogenders are about identifying as a LITERAL dog.
Google says that it is "nibling",
I also came up with "niphew" on my own.
I wonder how long it will take for WJE to start making cringy jokes about this being cringe.
First of all, congrats! Second, nibling is the term most people use, but if you want a funny one, I would propose "chaos gremlin" or "gene thief" as suggestions.
I've thought about this too. English has gender neutral pronouns for almost all relationships, but not niece/nephew or aunt/uncle. Do you feel like you identify more strongly or more frequently with one over the other? Maybe they could use that pronoun until you find something different. Or they could just say "my brother's/sister's kid"; it's clunky, but it describes the relationship. And they'd only have to use it once or twice and simply refer to you by name or preferred pronouns after that.
well two of them are just my baba's best friend's kids, if that makes sense. i do think theyd be fine calling my mom their sister because they literally grew up in the same house, we'll see, thank you tho :)
Aww I'm happy that they seem to be open/accepting!
From someones basement after they got kicked out of their discord server I bet
