There's so much beauty in the world and so much to see. And so little time. What places and/or attraction do you want to see before you die? Not whole countries please, but specific places or sights.

The Namib Desert
The Gobi Desert
Adelaide/South Australia (including a trip to yet another desert)
Interesting choices. The Gobi desert must be impressive, at least what I've seen so far (on TV). Adelaide and South Australia are great. Did a Road Trip there (up to Brisbane), also visited McLaren Vale and Barossa Valley. And drove to the Uluru from there and back, was a great time. See the sun coming up in the outback on the way was so impressive - also calm and quiet.
Studio Ghibli park. I want to go to Kiki's Bakery.
Switzerland alpine sleds
Nice, France
Amalfi or Positano, Italy
Canada's east coast
The Amalfi coast is great. Completely packed in summer though. If you can avoid July/August it will be great. Amazing views all the way. Beautiful villages. We stayed a couple of nights in "Cetara" - a smaller village by the sea in the middle of Amalfi. Affordable and a great base. The drive is really rewarding and not as scary as it seems. The roads to the villages of Cinque Terre were more challenging I gotta say. If you're at the Amalfi coast, make sure to visit Pompeii. Impressive. Studio Ghibli is a sight I would be interested as well, I was in Japan but didn't have time for that. One day hopefully.
Ummm... Hashima Island ( Gunkanjima) in Japan...
The Sedlec Ossuary in the Czech Republic....
And a small farmhouse outside of Osnabrück, in Germany.... 😁
I've seen quite a few places in my life, which I'm thankful for. But of course there's still a lot on my bucket list:
Italy
Sweden
the south of France
Canada
Romania
Belgium
Even though full with visitors: Bruges in Belgium is really worth it and lives up to the hype. France in general is lovely. The South as well, check out the lavender fields in June/July. Beautiful. Sweden and Italy are other wonderful countries. Both can be easily done by Road Trips if you enjoy driving.
I am lucky to have seen a lot of the world already (even though it's never enough), but these I'd love to see still:
- Tierra del Fuego and the Falkland Islands
- The Great Wall (I prefer a less visited, quiet spot)
- Angkor Wat in Cambodia
Asia in general. My mum actually bough her and I cruise tickets to visit China, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea for my 40th Birthday………..I turned 40 in 2019, Sox’s sure you know how THAT went!
Still haven’t managed to visit any of these places yet!
Russia, alaska, canada, and pretty much everywhere...
May not seem like much lol, but when u live in the same spot your whole life any little exploration counts... i wanna see russia the most tho :3
As an Alaskan, I'd say go for it! Just make sure to go during the summer, when the weather's more pleasant. There are lots of great hikes and camping opportunities, and plenty of interesting history, especially around the interior parts of the state.
I'd love to go to:
-St Petersburg, Russia
-Talkeetna, Alaska
-The International Jazz Festival in Montreal, Canada
-Yokohama, Japan. Specifically, the Harbour View Park
Idk that much about these places, but they seem really nice. If anyone has any information or tidbits about them, I'd love to hear :)
