Not all Persons are Human. All Primal Peoples know this, and it seems clear Pandas do too. We just got news that Molly the Magpie is going home- and we love it. It made me think of someone I have followed for years - Wisdom. She's a Laysan Albatross- the oldest known wild bird in the world. She's 73 at least- and hatched a chick Feb 1, 2021.

Ever heard of her??? Most likely not; how many of you regularly scan the albatross news?

There are- I am SURE - hundreds more like her; non-humans that humans have noticed and written about but who remain mostly in obscurity. Do You Know One?

Share them with us here! Photo, some story, some links. Benefits will abound for all.

Wisdom nests on Midway Island, was banded for study- in 1956, when she was probably 5 years old. She was last seen - flying of course - 3 months ago. Laysans mate for life- and her mate Akeakamai (wisdom lover) has not been seen for 2 years - so once again she's in a dramatic place in her life. In 2011 a tsunami hit the atoll- killing around 110,000 chicks of many species. Wisdom- and her chick that year - survived. Again. You can google her, there's tons available online.
