What "classic movie" doesn't live up to the hype?

Cinderella there's so many plot holes
"Ever After", the Cinderella story with Drew Barrymore from the 90s, is a FANTASTIC retelling of the story, and a lot of those plot holes are filled in: how does site meet the price, why does her step mother hate her, the source of the dress and "glass" shoe.
Bus Stop, with Marilyn Monroe was pretty bad in my opinion. A guy 'falls in love' with her and spends the whole time trying to get her to marry him. She doesn't want to, he stalks her when she runs away. In the end she does end up falling in love with him just because he finally realises she has free will to accept or decline his advances. Whole way through I just felt sick!
HALLOWEEN. The acting in that movie was so bad, and why did all the girls have to be shirtless?
The original Night of the Living Dead. It was so boring I couldn't finish it, and wanted them to throw the hysterical woman out of the house to the zombies!
The book was really good. Haven't seen the film so far
