Please share so I would know where to start!

I stayed in my home town but not long after my 30th birthday I quit my job at a gas station. I took a 4 month long course on wind energy expecting to find a job afterwards but all the jobs required more education or experience in a related field. So I went to the community college and got an associates degree in wind and solar. I did so well in school because I was interested in the subject that I went on to get a Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering with a minor in renewable energy. I still wasn't able to get a job in renewable energy because I had no experience but I did find a job as a electronic technician. I am now an RF engineer.

That is awesome! I am so happy for you. I think it is very difficult to make such life changes and even harder without the neccessary funds, especially if you plan on emigrating as well.
