If you're in school, whether that be K-12, college, university or somewhere else, what classes are you taking? Which ones seem/seemed the most interesting before attending them for the first time? Which one is your favorite so far?

I'm in my first year of college and so far my favorite class is Japanese (my language class). But I am also taking classes on philosophy, sculpture, and hydrology (water, water systems, water cycle).

P.S. I wanted to create some content that was more interesting than celebrity gossip and random posts that every single comments says is boring/redundant/not interesting.

i'm in geometry, chemistry, english 2, and world geography, and varsity choir and a theatre productions class. oh and pe lol but ONLY for this year. my favorite is theatre cause it's an auditioned class so everyone who is in there WANTS to be there and isn't there just for the fine arts credit.

Theatre sounds fun! I've always admired people who are in theatre groups (clubs, classes, what have you). I was in my high school's theatre club in ninth grade but it got interrupted because of COVID so then I didn't rejoin because of masking and everything. Now that I'm in college I'm considering joining again. I was in the costumes crew and really enjoy/ed sewing and crafting. I am definitely too shy and anxious for acting though, lol

I'm in German 1, Pyschology and Literature, C&C/Civics and Civilizations (History/English combo that takes two blocks, so is everyday and not just on A day or B day), Intermediate Band (which terrifies me for no reason lol), Honors Healthful Living, Math 3, and Biology. My favorite is German hands down, the teacher is funny and the class is collectively chaos.

Psychology and literature (is that one class?) also sound interesting. I would want to take a psych class because I love learning about pretty much everything but probably I'd end up learning some creepy or unsettling fact and then my anxiety would never settle again. Same with neuroscience; very interesting but I'm not sure I'm the kind of person for that class. But perhaps someday.

Latin, chemistry, maths and English lit. I utterly love latin, but that might just be the tiny class of mad nerds who I've known for years, and the bonkers teacher, I mean the romans are interesting too, don't get me wrong, and I like the logic to the whole thing. I'm finding chem really interesting, all the molecules and stuff. Maths im doing because its required for a lot of science uni courses, it's dry and there's lots of work; the people make it bearable. English lit is so interesting and I love books bit the essays are a lot.

I always liked English lit for the focus on books and reading but also the essays sometimes did diminish my interest in casual reading of books just for the fun of it, plus they always took up so much time. However I was (and am) good at writing so it was also sort of fun to make/choose a point and then argue it with facts and reason. Depended on the essay prompt though.

I'm taking American Literature, chemistry, German, Spanish, American history, advanced algebra, and draw/paint 2. I hate all of them. Art is usually my favorite class, and I love my art teacher, but because of my wrist injury I have to do everything with my left (non dominant) hand so all my art looks like sh!t. My other favorite class, lit, sucks this year because we have a long term sub who doesn't really know how to teach, let alone anything about actual literature.

Aw I hope your wrist heals soon!!! Though you said you didn't like those classes, I'm pretty jealous that you can take two language classes in the same school year. At my school you could only choose one and you pretty much had to stay with that one for the duration of your entire education
