Hey Pandas, If You Could Tell Your Younger Self Anything What Would It Be? (Closed)
A lot of us have things we wish we had known or done when we were younger so I'm curious if we could tell our younger selves anything what would we say

Be yourself and dont care what people think!
Don’t let your mom have so much power over your choices and decisions. You can do it by yourself, it is your life not hers.
I love this one! Finally managed to set her straight when I was 38. For everyone in this situation, please know this.
Tell my 15 year old self don’t drink or do drugs. 51 an 3 years clean and sober
Don't get into a relationship just because your heart is lonely. Not every couple you see smooching and cuddling in public are happy and will last. Stay being content with being on your own.
Oh, and that best friend of yours doesn't really like you and she will not care to stay in contact with you. But don't worry, she's getting involved with an MLM.
Don't marry him
Do not come out to your parents..
..dumbass
Lean into what you love. Even though it seems so far-fetched, even though you doubt you can achieve the things you want most, don't give up and don't give in to societal pressure. Let's face it: when has doing what society says you should do ever worked out for you? Your life is a life of constant obstacles, but that's actually what's really cool about you. You face those obstacles every time, and you never stop finding reasons to laugh. Also, you are actually really smart. I know you don't think you are right now, but you'll find out later on that dyscalculia is a thing and quite frankly you are gifted in areas that matter more to you anyway. Hang in there.
You have Bipolar II Disorder. Find a psychologist, take your meds, finish school.
Me too. Don't ever give in or give up. This may sound odd, but always have a pet. Love them. You'd be surprised what they will see you through. In your darkest moments they can be what makes you stay. What would happen to them? No one will love them like you do. Will they take as good care of them as you do? Stay.
I know things a hard. You will go through a lot of hard things. But you will be okay. You have a lot of things/people that have kept you alive. Keep pushing through it!
Stop asking for a cat; you'll get two soon
Marriage is overrated.
😂 and many of them are only for appearances: to make HER frenemies feel bad, or for HIM to please his family and "friends" and "his love" (whom he really doesn't love.)😂
Like biff from bttf the winning numbers of gambling :p
You will be more open minded than your family and religion, they will get angry about that but stick up for your beliefs.
That all that bad moments are just moments, not the sum of your life. I know you think being popular and liked is sooooo important, but you need to like you first. You are going to make mistakes, a couple of whoopers. Forgive yourself.
Dont focus so much on school. Yes, you need to pass the classes. But nobody will ever reward you for having good grades or studying. Go out, meet people, have friends, do sports, date boys, try new things. Dont listen to your parents telling you to only focus on school.
Don't watch YouTube when you're supposed to be doing school
Stop being empathetic to everyone else but you. Stop believing the “if only” statements running your head - you weren’t in control of anything.
Sugar is addictive. Don’t eat so much of it.
There are many types of intelligence - don't expect much rational thinking from the popular people.
I'm not saying this in relation to this whole minimalist thing. It really is about what you need. If it all went to hell in a handbasket, what do you need to start all over again? That's what you make sure you have. Wants are treats you give yourself. You don't "need" all of those wants to be fulfilled all at once. It's actually pretty cool to save for something until you can afford it. You worked to get this, so it's pretty special. And no interest to pay on it. Cheaper in the long run. Major purchases, do your research. By the best quality you can. It will save money later. Buy basic. A fridge/freezer is to keep food cold. You don't "need" a computer in the door. Least amount of things to go wrong. Finally, take the time to take REALLY good care of all of it.
Learn to understand what bitcoin is by the time you could buy a pizza for 10.000 btc, but don't do that. Just get some and keep them. You'll see.
I'm still pretty young, but I would tell my younger self not to take things for granted and enjoy them well they last. Also, something I still struggle with is not overwhelming myself. I don't have to be perfect.
Believe in yourself! You DO have the world by the ass You ARE good enough to do great things DON'T be afraid
Where to start? 1) You're clinically depressed, you're not a bad person. 2) Study more, you don't know how important it is. 3) Go to college in town, it's cheaper and you don't know what you want to be anyway. Oh, BTW, here's a camera. 4) When you can invest, remember Apple and Microsoft are good. Also, when you hear about something called Facebook and Google, pick up some shares.
