We're all wondering why we have to pay taxes, since the government can just print money apparently.
Eeeeeeeeeh, they CAN, but should they really? Look at the Weimar Republic, they printed so much money that their currency became practically worthless since it had nothing to back it up. People literally used bills as wallpaper.
Christmas 2016: Playsets, bikes, art kits.
Christmas 2022: socks, dvd game, shoes.
Inflation hit all of my fam except for my paternal grandparents who get up to $300,000 a month.
As for the rest of my fam, we went from middle class to lower-middle class. lots of financial stress these days.
