I think I’m asexual. How do I come out? My family is homophobic, but I’m unsure where they stand regarding asexuality.

Isn't asexual okay for homophobes?I mean you are not "choosing" to "sin" with the wrong sex right?

Or am I just thinking logically with regards to an illogical group?

Part 1: The asexual community still gets a considerable amount of hate from homophobes or what the community deems "acephobes". It is considered a sin by many Evangelical groups as you're seen as broken or something lesser since you're not always having sex and propagating. Sadly, asexuality is horribly stigmatized and still viewed as a mental illness in many parts of the world and even with some more conservatives LGB groups that believe that trans, non-binary, agender, and asexual people should not be a part of the community. Asexual people are also at a high risk of being offered conversion therapy. This doesn't have to be a religious conversion camp, but could be anything that tries to correct their asexuality from pills to increase sex drive, hypnosis therapy, and even forced sexual encounters (yes, this is a thing). TERFS have a special hate for many asexual women as there is a horrible stereotype that since asexual people don't experience physical attraction they have to
