Hey Pandas, Have You Ever Been Subject To Racism And You Are Not A Person Of Colour?
There is an idea that seems to be gathering momentum which claims that you can not be subject to racism unless you are a person of colour. It would be interesting to establish whether any non-POC Pandas have been the victim of, or have witnessed this kind of abuse.

Some years ago, I was out on the town in my city, Leeds, UK. My friends had gone home and I decided to call at a late bar for a nightcap. I stayed for an hour or so and enjoyed the company of a young lady at the bar. I left. I was followed by a group of eight black guys who caught up with me and surrounded me. I was asked what 'a white boy like me was doing talking to a black girl' at the bar. I explained that we were just enjoying each others company and they became suddenly violent. One guy had a metal baton which he attacked me with, knocking me to the ground. I tried to protect myself but finished up with a detached retina among other injuries. They only stopped attacking me when the police arrived - as it turned out a passer-by had seen the assault and called it in. I may not be sat here typing this if that good Samaritan hadn't done that. So tell me. Was that a racist attack?
I love Mexican food. A lot. I was talking with my friends over text while fiddling with my water glass at a restaurant. One of the ice cubes fell out and landed in the salsa. I thought it was kinda funny, so I sent a pic to a group chat. This one Latino kid responds with "this is why you can't trust white people". Just straight forward you-cant-trust-them. I removed him from the chat and was yelled at for doing so because apparently I had no good reason. This kid is also very sexist and tells me to go make him a sandwich because thats what I'm supposed to do because I'm a woman and I "belong in the kitchen".
I was beaten in NY because i was a "racist white b***h". I was just trying to buy ice cream for the nice homeless man down the street. My wallet had fallen out of my pocket and he returned it to me.
