Like ghosts and what not.

Yes, lots actually. I still have moments that feel heavy, and uneasy. Like someone is watching me. So story time :>
We have lived in plenty of houses with lots of ghosts. The man in the wall, the shadow man #1, the ghost, shadow man#2. I'm not scared of any of them now. The man in wall was in a hole in the wall of the house we bought when we came back to America from England.(my dad worked for the US navy) Shadow man #1 and the ghost both were in our first house in texas, and Shadown man #2 lives with us currently. I actually saw him yesterday when I going to bed, he was downstairs while I was upstairs. If they bother me, or try to scare me I will fight back. Like I grab my stick and tell him that he is not welcome, and to go away. I then pray. He does always return, and I do feel his presence. I'm sure he is watching me now as I write this. But I really don't care. My younger sister heard me cussing at him once. (He was watching and giving me an uneasy feeling. Like that feeling something bad is gonna happen mixed with that falling feeling, mixed with someone is watching you feeling, and I something really cold next to me.) Oh! And incase you want to know how I'm not scared, my mom said "they feed on fear" and so with that I will let them starve and eat someone else's fear.

Actually yes. Yes I have. My dad brought home a motorcycle that belonged to my grandfather (he passed away) and when he was talking about it, the garage door slowly opened and I stood in my hallway for a minute or 2, and I walked to it. When I was to my laundry room the door SLAMMED (not closed but slammed) SHUT!!!

Was there a window open when the door slammed? Because a difference in air pressure can make doors slam quickly, even if you don't feel any wind. It happens at my house all the time. (Edit: a few days ago, I was also in my laundry room when the door slammed)

When I was young, my mother told me that she regularly felt a "presence" near her bed at night. It touched her, held her arm or hand... She was in a conscious state every time, she never found a clear explanation of these events .
Yet it bothered her all her life.
I guess I got used to the story, because I never was afraid, and I never experienced anything myself, until ....
I was on holiday trip with my mom and that one night we stayed in a hotel somewhere near Phoenix AZ.
I was sleeping on my belly and was awakened by a small hand holding my ankle .I instantly recognized the phenomenon and felt it make its way on all fours up to my shoulders where it sat . It felt around 3 kilos.
I was awake, I could move but avoided to .
Thanks to my mom's stories, I kinda was amused and I started laughing quietly.
It became totally linked to my mind, he felt friendly, and I clearly saw in my head four letters being "written" in front of my eyes : K A R L ,and vanished trough thin air.
At that moment I was wide awake.
    My mom sound asleep.
I never met anyone called Karl.
I never ever experienced another paranormal situation .

Okay, this may not exactly be paranormal, but it was weird. One day in elementary school my mom was walking my sister and I home, and I was ahead of them because my sister was like 5 and had tiny legs. So at some point ahead of them this thing crosses in front of me on the sidewalk, and I swear on my life it looks exactly like a walking sausage. It was dark brown and round and long-ish and it didn't have a head or a tail, but it had short stubby legs. It walks into the grass and disappears. My mom tried to convince me it was just a chipmunk or something, but I know what a chipmunk looks like and it sure wasn't one.

For some reason, I sometimes have strange visions or thoughts that come true, but I completely forget about them until they actually happen.

I found a handprint outside of my bedroom window. I sleep on the second floor. My books also fall off my shelf randomly at times, but it might just be a design flaw though.

I grew up in a haunted house. My Dad had our house built in the 70's so no one had ever lived in it but us. If we were downstairs and nobody was upstairs you could hear footsteps. No matter where you were in the house you could hear things fall. And downstairs there was an apparition that would walk past our family room. My Dad died in '81 and can be seen standing in the upstairs hallway.

Now I know you are going to say the noises was the house settling but my brother still lives there and continues to experience these things.

My wife and I were excited about our little city break in Bruges. We boarded the ferry and stashed our gear in the cabin before going off to explore. We had a couple of drinks in the bar and headed to bed quite early, around 9:30pm.

We must have had a problem with the air-con because our cabin was uncomfortably warm and we had trouble getting off to sleep because of it. Really stuffy. We obviously succeeded because I was awoken in the dead of night, by what, I do not know. My wife slept peacefully beside me as I sat up in bed to behold the figure staring at me from the foot of the bed. A silvery-white apparition of a young girl with her dress and hair blowing out behind her. As she faded away I noticed the chill in the room and could see my breath before me, as though I had been outside on a cold winter's night. It took some time to get back to sleep. Upon waking, I would put it down to nothing more than a strange dream.

The morning came and we berthed in Belgium, dropped our things off at the hotel and went out to investigate Bruges. We found an agreeable cafe and enjoyed a chat over coffee. My wife was a bit cagey when I asked how she slept and I could tell that something was bothering her. Eventually, I managed to coax the story from her. She had woken during the night, as I had. She had felt the icy cold, as I had. And, as I had done before her, she saw the apparition of a little girl at the foot of the bed.

I don't know if this counts, but my orchestra class was performing some Irish songs at a St.patricks day event. Of course, it was windy and a piece of my sheet music got blown into a puddle. I just stuffed it into my case and was lucky enough to have another copy of the song, just it didn't have the notes written in. A few hours later, I came how and found the same copy of the one that had blown into the puddle sitting on the kitchen table, the note written in. The handwriting and marks were exactly the same. I even compared the puddle one to it. Exactly the same. I have no memory of ever copying the original version.

I was in 2nd-3rd grade and I was sleeping with my sister. And I just wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and, I see something by my door I don’t say anything. It turns around looks me in the eye and disappears. Needless to say I slept with my sister the next night, in her room.

When I was 5 or so, we lived in an old house that had been made into 2 complete homes. It was owned by a rich man during the Civil War, I think he was a colonel. His house was used as a hospital. He was injured at some point and was sent home. He died there a few months later. We called him Sir George or something like that, as the owner told us about him. Every night he moved all the ashtrays into the basement, even though mom had emptied and washed them already. Things got moved around, always to the same places. One night my mom heard my sister talking. Went to our room and asked who she was talking to, Sir George. He only talked to her, but I saw him several times. When we had to move, he was at our new house for about a month, then left. The new family had a young girl who talked to him, too

Yes I have so me and my cousin and bestfriend were watching a horror movie so I went to grab popcorn and I left and I saw something run across the hall and the light turn on so I went to my cousin and handed her the Popcorn and my friend was still there with her so I went upstairs and turned off the light and I went to my room to grab some blankets but the light turned back on so I thought my friend was using the rest room (were all deathly terrified of the dark) so I said "bestie that you?" And I got no reply so I went and turned off the light and went down stairs as I was going down I saw that same figure run up the stairs so I got scared because like it was coming at me so I ran to my room and slammed the door and didn't open it till I heard my cousin say "you all right" and so I opened the door and no one was there and we live together so we have different things on our door to mark witch one is outs and so I closed the door and I fell asleep and woke up at like 3 and my door was open so I got creeped out and closed the door and went back to sleep and I swear I saw that same figure walk across my room and I tried to do something but I couldn't and no one believed me so now I am stick with that thing and can't do any thing

I have had several experiences with ghosts at work. The most recent just happened last week. I was at work waiting for my ride after everyone had left for the day. I work as a Pre-k teacher, I was told to go ahead and wait inside since it was a bit cold and windy outside, just turn the lights off and pull the door shut, it will lock when it closes. Ok, great...I sit and wait...five minutes later I am sitting there playing a game on my phone waiting for a text from my husband that he was there. Suddenly I hear a door close down the hall, I freeze and stare at the camera to see if I could see any movement or anything....when I see nothing I continue with my game thinking I am hearing things....but then a couple minutes later I hear a kids voice...I jump out of my seat and look down the hall to see if anyone was there...then walk around to make sure no kid was left behind...Of course I find no one. So I grabbed my jacket, and bag and walk out the door. I was not going to hang around for more....I told my coworker who told me to wait the night before and she said that others have heard similar things including her....now I am creeped out and will not wait inside by myself again....haha.
