So, coming out as LGBTQ is hard, so I want to make it easier for people! Do you want to start your coming out process but don't know how? Come out here (I was first out on the internet!) Want to practice coming out to family or friends? Put it here! If you want, you can ask for tips on how to come out from someone who has already done it (me.)

I’m bisexual. Nobody knows except for my therapy group (everyone’s LGBTQ+ there so it was easy there) and now hundreds of strangers now it too. My parents are very accepting and loving, but I can’t seem to find the right moment and don’t know how to tell ‘em. Anyone tips?

Well, it really depends on your parents. You could leave the device that you wrote this on out with this page up for them to discover or maybe even google "How to tell my parents I am bisexual" and leave that out for them to see. Or you could start a conversation about LGBTQ+ (maybe even how everyone in your therapy group is - that implies you and you can go from there) and then tell them casually as you are on that subject anyway. Or perhaps just write a note/ letter saying that you are bisexual and leave it on their laptop of whatever for them to find. Good luck and I hope this helped.

Well, it depends on how you want to tell them. Do you want it to be very casual, not a big deal? Slip it into the conversation, maybe when you're talking about people in your therapy group's sexuality. Do you not want to be in-person to see their reactions? Text them, email them, write them a letter. Do you feel like you wouldn't be safe if you told them? Go to a friend's house, call your parents there, and if they react badly you can spend the night. It all depends on how your parents would react. Your brain will try to tell you that your parents will kick you out or scold you or pretend you never said anything, but sometimes you will be pleasantly surprised! Good luck coming out to your parents, and hopefully a lot more people when you're comfortable!

Hello, I'm pansexual and demisexual. Meaning I don't feel sexual attraction to a person without a close emotional connection.

    >< I do apologize but I'm not demisexual as I posted. After I posted, I did a lot of thinking and realized I'm actually asexual.
