Family gets up late due to their only alarm clock getting unplugged, rushes to airport, kid changes the batteries in device while they are still in a rush, gets on wrong flight because security doesn't exist yet, kid meets criminals in New York, repeatedly kills them with bricks and exploding toilets, criminals get attacked by pigeons.

This incident sets off a chain of events that leaves the mother in a state of extreme distress. As the story unfolds, she uncovers an unsettling truth. Meanwhile, her husband believes that these events are a form of coping. The narrative takes a dark turn as flames consume someone, a mysterious string becomes a deadly weapon, and the lone survivor becomes possessed, reigning over a group of undressed followers who kneel before them.
