This is for options, I would like to see what others think. Global warming has caused so many issues, messing with our basic lifestyle. So what do you think?

I think we can decrease the rate, but not “reverse” it. Stop it maybe even seems like it’s a far shot. I think decrease it best.

If we all just woke up and realised the situation (especially governments, who have the power to control this, and big businesses, that pollute our earth) and all took action then yes we could sort of decrease (?) the situation. But honestly I feel it's too late to 'stop' climate change. It's so sad what we've done to this planet - our home!

I feel like things are looking up. If humanity users the technology we have right and focuses on making cures for things instead of weapons then we could stop global warming

It really depends if everyone who wants to beat (or rather, minimize) stands up and demand change from our governments and fossil-fuel companies. Unfortunately simply asking for change, writing petitions, protesting in the streets etc does nothing. Do we care enough to do more? That's the question.

I don't believe we will slow down climate change.

It's hard enough to get people to understand anthropogenic climate change and just how much damage the Industrial Era has done.

Even if we were to get a majority of people to understand, corporations are the main polluters and as long as money is the primary focus of companies, they're not going to change.

Corporations won't let pro-ecology candidates into power, so government won't help.

Our lives are too short to understand the ramifications of our choices, so nothing will change.

It cannot be stopped or reversed. The pollutants/toxins already in the plants, ground, water, air, animals, mammals will take generations to resolve (likely never really be resolved). Even the level of today never increased, we have not reached the end of it's causation cycle.

Even if every person magically became carbon neutral today, the top corporate polluters (and just looking at a small percentage of said worst, makes all of humanity look like negative environmental impact), would still be up and running 100%.....so still causing 90% of the negative impact to the earth.

I believe that "global warming" is a natural occurrence that has been going on for 1,000's of years. The temperatures naturally fluctuate. That's why we have had the glaciers that have receded from the U.S. (and most likely other places) and left behind soils, rocks, and land formations. What was responsible for their melting, other than a natural occurrence.

Most of the world's scientists believe that the sudden and rapid rate of warming lately is mad-made, due to the greenhouse effect of so much carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases being released in to the atmosphere by the burning of fossil fuels. To deny that is to be in a very small minority of mostly politicians and corporations who want to benefit from mining coal, drilling for oil, etc.
