How do you know if you are gender fluid or non-binary? I don’t think I am, it just confuses me.
Non binary usually means you dont feel like you’re a boy or a girl and always feel the same, genderfluid usually means sometimes you feel like a boy, a girl or neither and it can change, hope that helps explain?
so i told my parents that im moving out and cutting contact with them the week if not the exact day i turn 18 (still years away) im genderfluid and pan, i havnt came out to them because both my parents are transphobic and slightly homophobic. both of them are toxic and my dad was calling me a selfish asshole to leave my family thats fed and housed me since i was born. i have multiple mental disorders that they think i fake, my mom even says they dont exist (i was diagnosed with 3 by a counseler that was in the middle of trying to find someone thats allowed to test for the other ones on minors but they moved) they also force me to go places like the beach or amusment parks which give me anxiety to the point where ive started crying in the middle of a crowd. am i in the wrong?
sorry for the long post
If you haven't already, check out the book Educated by Tara Westover. Queen of religious family trauma. Your situation isn't nearly as rare as you may think. Look for people who have gone through similar things to find a support system outside of toxic family.
I am Chinese/Japanese, born in China. Am I a person of colour? My skin is average for Asian folks and many people have given very different answers on whether I’m a person of colour or not. This was not meant to offend :)
How do I know if I’m really bisexual or gay, since I’m teetering between the two? And then how do I come out? I have several LGBTQ+ friends, but they provide little advice. thanks, pandas :)
It took me so long to figure that out ], i eventually decided i was a biromantic lesbian but you don't have to pick a label.it really helps me, but for some people, they prefer not to choose. One other possibility is Omni, for what you are describing which is the same thing as bi, but you have a preference towards one gender. I hope this helps.
I'm embarrassed to say I don't understand what makes the LGBTQI+ community angry when others voice that whatever you are now, or choose to be in the future, you are physically born a male or female or intersex. You may be born with a certain identity different from your physical body. I accept everyone as they are, encourage everyone to be who they truly are, but I don't understand why all the rage when it's brought up that everyone was FACTually born a certain gender? Just something I've wondered. Love you all
How do you know if you like someone for sure? Like, how do you differ between a feeling of a good friendship or romantic interest? This may seem pretty stupid, but I really can't tell and no one's ever been willing to help clarify for me.
My best advice is to think about it for a while. I definitely know what you’re talking about, but I’m that situation, for some reason I just thought of them differently. If you want to know for sure, become friends with them first, and see if you still want more.
I'm not of color, but I live in a city where Caucasian is the minority and I've gotten racially bullied. Is it ok to be offended?
If you are non-binary and like girls, what is your sexuality?
Gynesexual I think (attracted to women/females/femininity no matter what identity)
