do you support LGBTQ rights or a member of the LGBTQ community?

Straight man. Will always support the LGBTQ+ community. To any of you who are LGBTQ+, Happy Gay Pride Month and for any of you still in the closet. Get out of it. Never be ashamed of who you really are.
Come out when you can do so safely, and I hope it’s soon for every one of you.
I´m straight but I´ll always be a supporter!!! Happy pride month everyone!! 🏳🌈🏳⚧😄
I’m lesbian. The only other gay person I know is my girlfriend (she’s pan) so U don’t really know much about pride month or other LGBTQ stuff.
And, f**k yeah. I would support them even if I were straight. :) :) :)
F**k yes I support rights for LGBTQ! What I don't understand is why anyone still cares about this. Even if gender preference and gender identity was a choice (I don't think it is) who cares? Cis, trans, gay, bi, who gives a c**p?
Straight, but I support every LGBTQ+ person with my whole heart. I have no patience for those who don’t, and don’t want to hear any tired excuses about religion or tradition. Love who you love!
I don't mind if people don't support LGBTQIA+ because of religion - they're entitled to their beliefs, it's when they use this religion as a reason to be hateful towards the LGBTQIA+ - there's a big difference between not exactly "supporting" it (but still somewhat accepting it) and being hateful.
I am non binary
Some people, like you, are non-binary. Everyone else is, therefore, binary. This divides everyone into two groups, thus making everyone binary. Hmm.
of-course... I absolutely can't think of 1 reason not to...
makes me kinda said you have to ask...
It really is a sad world we live in. Thanks for being an ally, you seem wonderful.
I’m gay and Genderfluid and I support the rights of the LGBTQ Community and it’s people!
Hello! Fellow gay person here, (trying to be friendly), but can you explain what genderfluid means?
I'm genderfae and queer! humans amiright
and yes id always support the gays :)
I am AroAce. I also use They/Them/She/Her pronouns. Happy pride month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im a bit complicated lol, Bi romantic ace, lithoromantic and nonbinary :D
I’m straight but support the LGTBQ community!!
I’m a lesbian, proud of it :)
I am bi and ace maybe demigirl but I'm still questioning. Happy pride month!!! 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🌈🌈🌈
I'm AroAce and Demigirl. Let me know if you have any questions! :)
Im not totally sure what i am 😅 im definitely aroace and prefer ‘girls’ clothes and makeup but i still identify as a boy? I like they them pronouns though? Maybe Genderqueer fits best? Any way i love pride month, love is love, all genders are valid and i frikkin love everything rainbow even tho im a goth, my room is decorated with rainbow bats 😀🌈🦇
Tbh I’m still finding myself. From being straight to Non-binary to straight again to being gay then and now im Bi. Mostly due to the fact because im currently dating a girl and have the flutters. Wish me luck.
I'm bi and closeted so it would be kind of weird if I didn't support myself. Happy pride everyone!!
I consider myself bisexual and my husband considers himself pansexual.
Pansexual and demisexual. And F**K YEA LGBTQIA+ RIGHTS!!!!!!!!
Straight woman. Had friends in college who were gay and lesbian. My husband is bi. So yes I support LGBTQ+.
Heck yeah. I'm nonbinary (agender, specifically) and I don't know my orientation as it's not one of the simple ones. Something like grey ace/quoiromantic/pan
I'm pansexual!! 💗💛💙 😁
Happy Pride Month btw!! 🌈✨
I'm still questioning my gender, but I think that I am a trans masc. I'm also pansexual. I also experience shifting in my gender. I never feel feminine though. My pronouns change every day depending on how I feel. Today, they are He/Xem.
PS: Keep in mind that these feeling could change.
Look into bigender or genderfluid, those might be similar to what you feel.
Hell yes I’m Pan, duh and a Demi-girl and if I was straight I would🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️. Happy Pride Month everyone!
Bisexual/Queer and trans! This is my first pride month since I realized I was trans, so it’ll be fun! I want to get my sister to take me to our local pride parade!!!!
Love and support to all of my fellow people, whether you’re cis, gay, trans! To quote Lin Manuel Miranda, “Love is love is love is love!”
I'm ace, one of my friends is trans and my other really good friend is bi and ofc I support lgbtq+ people
Hell yeah! I'm nonbinary, ambiamorous (equally open to polyamorous and monogamous relationships) and abrosexual (my levels and types of attraction to different genders change from time to time).
@Istax, it might be to you, but it means something to everyone else. Just because you don't understand this, doesn't mean it is just "meaningless buzzwords".
Gay male here- married to my husband (were both 42) 5 years in August but been together for 21 years "half our lives" . we are both big supporters obviously but we also try to help where we can. I used to be a VP for a Non-Profit that focused on making sure lgbt kids had some where to go and do and be themselves and my husband was a founding member of a lgbt committee at this auto manufacturing plant. we try to be good people and spread love and happiness but were not perfect by no means. which just makes us human.
That's amazing. It's easy to forget but even human beings can be beautiful 😂❤️
I've always been a 100% supporter of people living their lives as they desire. Now I have a beloved daughter, a niece, and a nephew who are part of the LGBTQ+ community and they are some of the most phenomenal people I've ever known.
Let your beautiful Freak Flags Fly, don't let anyone ever tell you who you are or who you can love!
❤️🏳️🌈🥳 I don't know who you are, but I love you. And I'm stealing the freak flags thing, that's iconic.
I’m bisexual and also maybe nonbinary? I haven’t really figured out my gender yet, but i’m cool with any pronouns
i find this question to be silly. i think if you'd have said 'are you homophobic' it makes more since. i don't go out of my way to support the LGBTQ anymore then i support the SHP (straight heterosexual people). i just choose not to disrespect people period.
Excellent response! I don't understand why, when we all want the same things-to be treated equally, without prejudice to race, or creed, we must insist on being recognized for our supposed differences when we are all more alike than different!!
I don't know, I don't have any opinion. Would my opinion be considered relevant anyway? I love most people, one thing that I am against is bullying.
What do you think 🤔
I think that's valid. Not having an opinion is better than having a bad one. 👍
Ok so I'm aromantic asexual and a demigirl for the basic description of me but I also identify as ambiamorus bi (preference to girls though)and queerplatonic if we want to be specific so i definitely support the community happy pride everyone ❤️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🌈
Pan sexual girl in a homophobic family . Do I need to say more ?
P.S : I whole heartily support LGBTQ
P.P.S: I am supper scared to come out to my family now . Will wait till I am independent .
Good luck! As a fellow "freakazoid" (not using it offensively) (hopefully) who is also in the closet, i wish you good luck against your family. Be brave and if you need help, look up websites for this kinda thing :)
Hell yea!! I mean, my username says it all ☺️
No. I don't support them. But before you downvote me, let me explain.
I would love to. The LGBTQIA+ community deserves their rights to love and to live as they wish because it's normal.
Here's the problem. I'm a Christian. And as a Christian, I love everyone. But my parents aren't a big fan of homosexuality or anything along those lines. My mom was driving and on the sidewalk was a classmate who could either be non-binary or trans, and my mom literally said 'it doesn't matter what he says, that is a 'he'.'
Sometimes I would go off on absolutely homophobic rants just to p**s off my mom, calling them 'freaks' and 'non-humans' and my mom wouldn't have any of it. That's good. But she'll drop snide comments like that?
And my sister was dating a girl in high school. Parents found out. Forced her to break up over FaceTime.
And it eventually scared me when I thought I was bi-curious. Because if I realized I was actually bi one day, I would face some unwanted treatment from my parents. Honestly, it scared me into being straight again. I love my parents, but the way they think of LGBT people is too much for me. Especially since I have LGBT family members who aren't out for this same reason.
So, no. I don't support them. At least not openly.
Please go love who you love. You deserve it.
I understand your confusion, and I believe that you do see everyone as deserving to be themselves, but especially you deserve to be yourself without the fear of what your family thinks of you. Most lgbtq go through the exact same situations/fears as you. Don't judge yourself so harshly! Align yourself with your family who are lgbtq. You already have a support system within your family if you'd take the chance. Best wishes to you
Straight and Cis, but always been a supporter/ally of the LGBTQ+ community. Had quite a few gay/bi friends over the years. And I’ve never voted (yes) for anything as quickly as when the idea of marriage equality was put to us a few years ago!
I am a straight girl, and I definitely support LGBTQ+. Three of my closest friends are part of this community. And all of then have the most ✨fabulous✨ earrings!! Happy Gay Pride Month y'all!!
yep, part of the lgbtq+ youth, my father doesnt support me and its hard for me. he burned 4 of my pride flags, wont let anyone take me to anything pride related, wont let me come out to my family, calls me less of a woman (which is good, i go by they/them) says im going to hell, ect. its heartbreaking for me. but i know tons of good people support me. im pansexual and proud :)
So f**king gay
I know that "gay" in this context means homosexual, but I still use the word to mean "happy, joyful", so, if you are gay, I also hope it means you are happy and joyful. I try to be as "gay" as I can every day!
I am LGBTQIA+, but I'd support them (us) even if I was straight. Biromantic ace and all that s**t, y'know.
Forgot something big…
HAPPY PRIDE MONTH EVERYONE!!! LOVE WHO YOU LOVE!!! BE WHO YOU ARE!!!! WE ARE ALL HUMAN!!! HAPPY PRIDE 🌈🏳️🌈❤️😁✨
i'm a bisexual/asexual blend, if that makes sense. attracted to men and women but due to crippling anxiety, things rarely happen for me. also, not out so shhhhhh
Straight woman. I support LGBTQ+ people with my whole heart. Some of my closest friends/family are LGBTQ+, and I accept them as they are because they are people, just like you and me! I think it is unbelievably disgusting that they are discriminated because of who they are.
I identify as pansexual, I don't care what gender you are, if I have feelings for you, I'm all in. My brother and older sister are both gay and my younger sister is Bi, so the parents produced a bunch of queers. Mum is great and dad is finally coming round to it after educating himself.
I am an Ace Pansexual who proudly went to a pride event with my flags in my hair and left them in all day for the world to see!! I also met my first Drag Queeeeen!!!!!!
No! It's a sin! Jk I'm pan and 1/2 my friends are somewhat queer. Happy Pride.
I read the first words and almost had a heart attack lol- thank goodness you were joking
2 of my children have declared themselves as being lesbian and nonbinary.
I'm having a difficult time with getting the vocabulary correct.
I've got no issue with them being themselves, but I'm having a difficult time finding positive role models for them as most gay/queer/nonbinary celebs are males who just shart on lesbian/nonbinary fems as if men invented it all.
Lots of wonderful lesbian comédiennes that I adore and encourage my kids to watch, and thank God for Ru Paul to make his series and be so honest (aj and the queen) , but Jonathan van Ness frustrates me with their series that focuses on male nonbinary and doesn't include females. Equality, Johnny!
I want my kids to be their best selves-
They know I'm going to make mistakes in how I "identify" them, but they've told me it's OK.
I love my kids as they are. Nothing will ever change that.
I will add that we are immigrants, and assimilation and acculturating is difficult enough, but when you're not sure of how you orientate, it makes life that much more difficult. My kids had a hard time going into adolescence in a foreign culture not understanding themselves, and already being treated as the "outsider". I fully support my kids to be their true selves-I want them to be happy with themselves and not conform to what any culture wants them to be.
I'm Bi this is my first pride month as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and I'm so happy about it
"If you prick us, do we not bleed? if you tickle us, do we not laugh? if you poison us, do we not die? and if you wrong us, shall we not revenge?". - (Act III, scene I).
William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice
I truly do not understand why there is any prejudice against sexual preference, orientation, or skin color, or nationality. We're all humans and we're all trying to live the best life possible.
I am straight and a mother. I want everyone to be happy and to be loved. I believe life is too short to have hate in your heart and to not be kind. To all those children that fear acceptance, please know that you are beautiful and amazing. Don’t let anyone’s darkness steal your light.
Gay as a daffodil (as Freddie once said)!!!! Massive supporter of the whole shebang. HAPPY PRIDE MONTH🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️
My gender is complicated so I use nonbinary as an umbrella term. I am demisexual and panromantic. 🏳️🌈
I'm a lesbian with many LGBTQIA+ friends.
I support all pride things.🏳🌈
Straight but fully support LGBTQ+. Everyone deserves happiness and love. I am trying to do more for the community by going to rallies and events. I would love to know what else I could to do support you. Happy Pride Month!!!
This sucked. I'm already hated irl but there are one too many people hating on the LGBTQIA+ community
