The first time I wore a specific shirt after top surgery. I finally felt at home in my body. This week, I'll hit six months since surgery, and every day I look in the mirror and get hit with a wave of gender euphoria!

    When I was trying out ze/zir pronouns, one of the nicest and funniest things my friend "Kate" did was make random puns, ie calling me Zezir Zalad, asking if I was having a zezir, etc. (Thanks, Kate. If you see this.)

    Many years ago during the heat of summer in the southern US I tried my spouse's short athletic shorts instead of my typical "american-guy" cargo shorts (that are more like 3/4 pants) and I realized I didn't really like any of my clothes. I thought I just wasn't into that stuff and this is just the way it is. I tried more things because the shorts worked out pretty well and now I enjoy loose skirts, sandals, tank tops, sun dresses, etc. in the summer and I actually enjoy the season and I have more positive experiences with clothing in general. It felt quite euphoric when I freed myself from those stereotypes.

    I'm still questioning a lot about my gender and I'm totally fine with she/her, but I can't help but feel absolutely elated when people refer to me as they/them or use masculine titles for me.
