Yes. My mom's ex husband (thankfully) was physically and verbally abusive. But the verbal really stuck with me for a while. He'd tease me about being chubby, and having a lisp, BTW this motherf**ker had a bad stutter so why is he talking s**t!? Anyway, I still wet the bed when I was 7 and he'd call me "miss p**s pot" frequently. When he had friends over and I was around he'd make fun of me wetting the bed and get his friends to join in. One time when we were out in public and he was making fun of me, calling me miss p**s pot and I told him to shut up. We passed a group of people and he screamed "everyone! This is miss p**s pot!" That really messed me up for a while and I was so ashamed. I started setting my alarm for every hour. Along with that he'd pull my hair and punch me, give me Indian burns. But it was "ok" because he was just "teasing". My mom divorced him after 6 years and got herself together. For me, it took a while to stop feeling ashamed about myself and I realized he was a pathetic excuse for a human that had to humiliate children to boost his ego.
I am so sorry this happens to you-please, try to reach out if you need it (Hopefully it will get through to me, but sometimes my administrator blocks emails outside of my school district.)
A bit, yeah. Some kids at school think it's weird that I'm a furry, even though I'm just being myself. Also, I don't like the term furry, I just act like a cat. I don't mind it much, because I can always get revenge by hissing at them. The anti-furries freak out when I do, and it gives me joy!
